Well, Ladybug Picnic first aired in 1971, and this Bellhop series comes from the mid or late 80s (I think 1988.) By the way, how did you find out who the voice of the Bellhop was? I was a student of the animator who made these films----just before he was arrested and sent to jail, that is. ;[ But from the age your profile gives, you wouldn't have been in college in 2004, so were you otherwise acquainted with him or someone else from Sporn studios?

It's classic ambiguous Western language that animators usually throw in to keep a show from looking like it comes only from one country. Plus, they figured kids wouldn't really be reading it.
