They truly are. What is often less focused on is the love the parents have in their eyes as they look at their kids in the mirror. be on the watch for that! It is priceless as well.

Yes, It is a starblends powder. Not as great as regular paint, but if it is hot and sweaty it does great to have powders!

Smoothie blender is the official name of some, lollipop sponge is the name of others- I often use “printer cleaner sponges” they sell on Amazon. So many choices!!!

Yes, it is actually called a lollipop sponge. I am using face paint powder. (mehron starblends)

Let me just add for anyone else asking. These are Qosmedix or that's the closest I have found. Been painting for years and I think you just changed my life.

I usually do just white powder- but I think in this video both are powders. When it is really hot- powders can be so helpful.

A power base can be applied with a smoothie blender.

It is a Mehron starblends white powder, most online retailers carry it- just make sure you pick up some applicators too! Using powders is awesome!

@@fairyfox I know this video is from several years ago, but what are those applicators called? Also, when i search Starblend powder, it just brings up cakes. Is it a loose powder? I think it works amazingly here. thanks again! :)

@@anidavidian3714 the easiest applicator to use and find for powder application is called a lollipop sponge. No problem!!

Hi- I realize it had been a minute. The paint is starblends by neuron powder. The black is a full load and Wolfe- it takes practice and a good brush- but you can get a lot done.

NO! well, yes, sometimes! Every product has advantages and disadvantages. I use starblends around the eyes and as a base for my unicorns, but it does not look as bold as a regular white. Always nice to see what works best for you though!

I have a love/hate relationship with them. They make a fine powdery dust in your kit that can be hard to control. They go on great on some kids and not on others- I could go on- but when they shine- they are amazing. SO fast- great in the heat. I like black/white/red/orange. If the kid is sweaty or on adults it can sometimes look redish too. Yellow and Pink are nice, but a little pale. Green covers well, but I dont care for the color. I do not recommend blue or purple. grey is fine. In my everyday kit I only keep white- but use it everytime. Biggest adjustment is that it is Matte- unlike all water based that have a bit of a shine. I like to use them when they will have paint overtop- like here on the tiger.

On the starblends or on the eyelids? Just a lollipop blender, and the other is a mark reid chisel brush (I love that one)

It is a comfort series loew cornell brush, sadly they were discontinued!
