I’ve played for three years on linear, and it’s feel’s perfect on small distance, but my mid-long aim was so bad. Until I switched to classic curve, I feel like it was my best decision, it keeps time to get used to. But when you get it, you good on every distance. I think everyone should give a try to classic, you need to play around month on same settings to really starts to feel them
My controller allows me to customize to sensitivity of my thumbsticks..I have the right thumbstick to detect 50%small movements and 25% for both medium and large..Classic feels great since I got this controller very responsive to my small inputs..I rarely ever even get close to touching the friction ring around the thumbstick.
Played classic for about 3 months, only been playing the game for 3 months, reached diamond but classic just never felt natural to me, I could never master the aim like I could in call of duty or warzone and yesterday I tried linear and I almost instantly felt how much better it was for me. We were frying yesterday day, back to back 14 and 13 kill squad kill wins.
@@pxartfun4688tbh I'm not surprised if a COD pro switch to apex within a month hed be master-pred aim is a skill built upon and it can easily be applied to other games
Why would any controller player not want aim assist at its full potential with classic? I mean we already have to go up against full arm aiming crybaby mouse and key players with just our thumb?
If I’m not mistaken we still get aim assist with linear it’s just toned down a notch to make it smaller adjustments for better aim. Classic can be a bit limiting.
Yah there be sometimes in game if i like mag dump on a enemy that im ads on. It kicks right above there head and ill drop my controller all the way down to bring the enemy back in my crosshairs…….. to late mags dumped and im dead. Have to try this see if it’s better
Don't forget the aim assist in the fire range is far stronger then going into game you play on on pc I think but on console the a assist is really strong in the fire range and plus the targets aren't moving I highly suggest turning aim assist off completely then mess about with your settings
A lot of tha top players play klassic, and a lot of top players play linear. Tha majority is klassic probably because that’s what u start out on in tha game.. but there is no better setting there’s plenty of pros on linear. It’s personal preference. Don’t kopy what tha next person is doing find what u like.
Classic is the best response curve. Linear is only for better movement which is kinda useless as a controller player. Abuse aim assist and use low sens classic
With linear your inputs no matter how far you push the stick the speed it reacts to it is always the same so the game even recognizes the smallest adjustment on the stick with classic you got like a ramp up time so if you move the stick further to the edge its reacts quicker then it would with fine adjusting movements..dont blame me if im wrong but i think that's the reason so your stick with linear is just more reactive so that's why stick drift is way more noticeable with linear
I used to use linear, now i use classic. I tried switching back to linear but if you have any amount of stick drift, just dont, its quite literally impossible to aim or do anything with stick drift on linear
@roscaxdd5305 I play LINEAR. the ALC is default 4-3. And my look deadzone is None. I just bought a new controller some minutes ago and still had stick drift until I changed the deadzone to Small. If I use CLASSIC with small NONE deadzone, there's no issues. Just with linear
linear makes you rely more on your input while classic makes you rely more on aim assist. i think linear is better because your input should always lead and aim assist is just there. an ASSIST and nothing else :)
