I always wondered why people would put lash fans under the natural lash until i tried it on a client and the retention was a lot better !

How’s the retention between the classic and volumes on her eyes? The volumes seem kind of heavy per lash. Do they fall off quicker in comparison to the classics?

Can someone answer this for me. I got my first set of classic lashes and I love them. If I want to try hybrid can I just get a hybrid fill or do I need to start all over with a new set?

I am a lash tech and yes you should be able to get a hybrid fill. There is no reason to start all over.

beauty school was so helpless for me with lashing too, I get it sis. I recommend lashing from underneath whenever possible, I teach this in my classes because it will give the best retention.

When I learned volume, I was taught from underneath, so I just do the same with premades as well! it is amazing for retention! It tripled my premade retention on clients when I started applying under! Would these not be mega volume? What amount of fans is classified as volume I always thought it was 2D-6/8D for volume x

Because she had sparse but strong lashes, I used more lashes per lash on her but if she had super full lashes it definitely would look more like a mega set! The way I look at it is 2D-6D is natural volume (unless the client has a ton of lashes), 6D-8D a little fuller, 9D-10D is very full normally on someone with average lashes and that or anything over I would consider mega! But look wise it all honestly depends on how many lashes they have too, because if someone has very few lashes, using a 10D could still just look like a regular or even natural volume set! But if we are being technical 10 lashes per fan could be considered a mega fan. Hope that makes sense, so confusing to explain lol 😋
