This video is a "Walk-a-Round" presentation of a completed ground up restoration of a Classic 1973 VW Super Beetle Sedan. Her name is Sunny, what do you think?
I have an identical Beetle I restored 32 years ago. After taking it out of a 16 year storage I've recently put it on the road. It will be up for sale soon.
Great job John! My second Beetle was a '73 Texas Yellow 1303 just like "Sunny"! The drive on it was superb! One day I'll buy another!! Keep up the great work chap!
Great job! We just bought a '72 Super Beetle European spec. Apparently they came with color matching fender beads which are no longer available in Texas yellow.
Английский собственно как таковой не знаю.Но и так ясно!Классная,классная машинка!И красивая, и по-спортивному динамичная, и отработанная в мелочах- нюансах, и функциональная!
Hello John, Can you explain to me something about the grill underneath the front bumper. Is it an air-grill? I know these grills were common on US Super Beetles. I had a UK 1303 (see comment below) and there was no grill on British 1303's. VW 1303's are still my dream car! Lovely restoration on this Bug! 👍
Awesome job and awesome video John. Something I noticed but I may have missed your mention. Starting at the A pillar and going over the entire roof, there seems to be chrome on the rain rail. Was this something offered by VW or was this an upgrade? I have never seen this before but looks sharp.
At 5:01 you talked about tires upgraded to a larger size? to check another video where you talk that? I can’t find it anywhere??? What size did you use??
I had a 72 bug named "Sunny" until a tree fell on the roof. I replaced it with a 73 Super Beetle named " Honey Bee" due to painting most of the trim black....what do you think ?
