Over 6,000 Classical CDs just in!
One of the more interesting aspects about our store is that we can’t control our used inventory: what people decide to sell us, is what we can buy. You regulars looking for classical CDs have probably noticed that after years of abundance, we’ve been in a bit of a drought lately. While we have been certainly been buying, we have not been able to find enough to consistently fill the racks.
That situation changed for the better last week when a collection of over 4,000 rolled in, and, as we were appraising that, another one of over 2,000 came in the same day! As you can imagine, the titles range all over the place, from early music to modern, orchestral, chamber, operas, and more. These collections contain many factory-sealed singles and box sets, and the rest are in excellent condition.
Prices range from a measly $1.00 to $5.99 a disc, with just a few higher. We are marking down or discarding a large number of slow-selling older titles and rearranging the bins to make room for the large influx, but please give us a little time. We have put out around a thousand so far and will be processing the rest over the next couple of weeks as time and space allows.
