Very nice work. I love the traditional, old school method. I use an old school approach on my mandolins, but have to admit, I could learn a few things from you methods. Thanks for sharing.

Never, ever take guitar building for granted. I developed allergies to many exotic woods while at the same time got divorced and lost my home shop. Never got back into it after ten years. Sold all my tools and woods. It is a gift and a blessing. I still miss it. Enjoy it while you can. Thank you for sharing the video.

Beautiful inspiring video. Love the way you use your tools and got your son involved in learning the joy of shaping wood. I think you could teach a lot on the use of tools - why you do smooth strokes. I like the book matching on the headstock. Got to admit that I like headstocks that are not book matched, if they have interesting grain etc. Looking at your jig I recognised that I don't need so many tools as I thought to build a guitar. This surely is harping back to some of the original techniques of building instruments, but you have a nice clean modern twist on it. Music was great. It completed the video very nicely. This video is very therapeutic.

I love the way your jigs and tooling are so carefully and cleanly built. So many people's equipment looks like they threw it together to get it over with, but your care and thoughtfulness in the tooling must also come through in the finished product.

As a life long scale model plane builder and amateur flamenco and folk guitarist, I was fascinated with your home-made precision jigs and other building solutions as well as the sureness with which to cut and shape materials. I wonder how Yamaha and other volume guitar makers automate the wonderful hand work of luthiers.

the one thing i find amazing about this, is that there were 149 fools who watched the same thing i did and the result was displeasing. Yet they clicked on making a guitar. The man was a crafted, skilled, clean shop, good with tools, an the master of craft showed the young. I'm playing on this jassbass now, hommie make me an axe, He is the man
