I know Neverland have waited almost tWO FULL YEARS for this video and I'M SO SORRY!!! First, this song took a while to get through our vetting process and then I developed tendonitis which turned into tendonosis and then a bunch of managements asked us to interview their groups (bit.ly/3Gmn97W) which heeeeellllaa delayed all react videos on our schedule. from what i've heard, a lot of ppl think Soojin is a devilish-dark figure, and the rest of the (G)I-DLE are all getting lured by her and they want to express their feelings towards her, which why a lot of ppl say this song gives off Lesbian Vibes! One of my favorite tracks of (G)I-DLE

As I figured from the symbolisim in the mv soojin is lilith and she is luring all other members with her beauty. All members are blinded by her sweetness so they are willing to commit a sin even though they knew it will cause their destruction. In stories lilith is the first wife of Adam but she rebels and turns into a demon haunting innocent people especially innocent girls to rebel and go against god's orders so it explains why she look both good and bad at the same time and why she is making other girls commit sins to reach her. Lilith's story is more of a feminist story instead of lesbian but that's not stopping us from using omg in lgbtq parades

This is the song that got me to fully stanning IDLE and of course, the visuals, the song, and the concept all slapped but what really solidified my love for them was the message. The moment Soyeon said it's open to interpretation and that all forms of love must be valued and respected, that just spoke to me. Since I'm a part of the LGBT+ community and personally have self-love issues, this song helped me come to terms with those problems that I've had trouble with for a long time (with a sick ass beat too). I can never really thank the girls enough for this. They're one of the few groups, if not the only group, in K-pop who could've pulled it off as masterfully as they have done.

The song is basically about girls being lured to sin by lilith (a demon/mother of evil) but they're too blinded by the love they feel for lilith no one is regretting their sins or asking for forgiveness. The "she" in the song refers to lilith as she make members feel the stars with beauty to make them commit sins. In stories, lilith is the first wife of Adam but she rebels and get punished because of this. She wants to take revenge from god who made her suffer and swears to lure innocent people especially innocent girls and make them leave god's way (start commiting sins) Members fall into her trap and commit sins because of her, in the mv you can see different scenes when girls sin but they are willing to burn in fires if that means being close to lilith. I love how they used classic biblical terms and turned them into this masterpiece

I think it's accurate the story of lillith but the true story of lillith is not just about go agaist God, but it was more of a "run away" from God. And sincerelly, Lillith is not even mention in the Bible since it never existed as the "first wife" of Adam. Neither in the Torah, Lillith was born as one of the many legends in the ebrew culture. She's ripresented as an owl who made women, in the night, fall into sinning. And it was said that she was "married" to the devil, that's why we see Lillith as a demonic figure since she makes you fall into sinning. And there's a lot of demons and lillith is one of them.

Also agree about she not existing in bible itself, however there are writings about lilith in old chtistian cultures showing she was used to threaten girls to behave. I believe she is a legend only used to symbolize women have to be like eve submissive, calm and motherly instead of lilith who rebel against the god to not obey someone made from same material as her and get punished for her rebellion. Also please correct me if Im wrong but as I know she isn't married to the devil but she is having a relationship with him (another "sin" according to religion) and she give birth to demon children hence why she is called the mother of evil. When god punishes lilith and her children (or in some sources they say she was jealous of eve) she swears to taint adam and eve's breed and take them to her side as a revenge. But I might be wrong at this, I only listened it from people around me and it been a long time since I lost my belief in anything people here say about religion

@@4everlastingstarlight well not married like a pure union with the one you love, it was more of a union to strenght each others. It was not about love, it was just lust ect. The devil would never fall in love even with the most evil woman in history, not bcuz he's not attracted to it but bcuz the devil is the first one who wants to attract you into his trap. And, in his nature, it's impossibile to make him fall in love since he doesn't even know what the word "love" means. He will do the opposite of "good" not bcuz he think he's right but bcuz he wanted to become "more" than God. Since it's impossible to be like God or superior to God.

HONESTLY! I'm so happy to see this! Oh My God was the first comeback they had when I became their fan and it's literally an experience for everyone. I especially love that the girls are pushing their boundaries here--the norm in pop musical compositions, the restrictive views in SK about LGBTQA, the borderline blasphemy on religious tones, and everything in between! I'm so happy to hear that others can appreciate it as well, since we can all feel the love and dedication and tears and blood that was put into this masterpiece. Production was really well-thought out and the vocal arrangement was so beautifully done while giving each member a time to shine. Honestly! Thank you for doing this!

Wow I love your analysis, and all the subtle stuff as diminished and not diminished chords that you mention. And I think that those details that you can easily hear are not heard at all by « basic » listeners, at least consciously, so they can love a song like this one but without knowing that part of them liking this song is because of all its complexity and nuances. I’ve been binge watching this channel’s reaction videos all week omg it’s just so fun to watch and very informative as well.
