There aren't many Cello solos or duets, but when a Cellist gets the opportunity to perform one, they pour their heart into the performance. It makes listening to pieces like these a wonderful experience. Thanks HALIDONMUSIC!

That's how I feel about the Euphonium. Such lovely mid-tone instruments with fantastic range. This has just the right amount of chocolatey sound without existing too much in the higher ranges.

I remember when I was 10, I begged to play the violin but we couldn’t afford it and my dad said I would never be able to anyways. He said it was a waste of money. So I played the trumpet and clarinet instead. We sold our guitar and keyboard as well. I still desire to learn the violin to this day, even if I’m not majoring in music. Strings just bring something out that warms the heart and brings us to another world. This playlist is something else. Anyone out there who had orchestra is awesome!

Go for it, I also started learning to play the Harp only last year in my 30s! It was something I always wanted, so I decided to stop putting it aside and I have no regrets :D

Go for it. I started practising violin at the age of 25. Though I'm not good at playing this instrument, I still love it. It's never too late to start something new.

IDK, but there's something about the cello. Like hugging a lover, with love in return. So integrated with the human frame. Bespeaks every emotion, but with humility as though it knows it's but second fiddle to what's on the inside of the musician, waiting, yearning to be released. Kinda' like Duane Allman with a guitar and a slide.

Adenda: I'm writing a bit later because as I thought about my reply, it just kept sounding more and more pompous. Sorry about that. But to tell you the truth, for all it's ills, one thing I love about utub is the instantaneity and possibilities. In a sense we are all published. So if my desire is to be read rather than "paid" (one can flip hamburgers or houses and accomplish as much), then my wish has come true; especially when there's feedback such as yours. What inspires you?

That's because low notes affects humans more than high notes usually. That's scientifically proven.

Beethovens “Für Elise” gets to the very core of my being. As I listen to that piece, in my minds eye I imagine a male couple dancing the Tango, or an entire ballet, and I’m moved to tears for the beauty of it all.

Out of all the string instruments, my favourite is the cello. Its lower tones resonate with so much warmth and power that listening to playlists such as these feels like my ears are being hugged somewhat

@lukasdittrich7400 it's all about perspective, violins nice but cello is captivating, dreamy, misty, evokes brood emotions, dark, mesmerizing, romantic, It travels throughout time from Shakespeare to now. I could go on, but definitely cello sounds better. Besides violins at times can be whiny

I used to play the cello in high school. Sadly, I got not afford my own cello when I got out of high school (I rented from my teacher), but listening to this makes me miss it. I believe the cello is the most beautiful instrument, though I am bias. I especially love listening to bach. I remember his cello solos were difficult but beautiful. It was a challenge to master, but once you did, it was always fun to play and extremely gratifying!

When i swapped from uke to guitar it gave me a warm feeling, i think the added deep notes in an instrument give it a more full feeling, the way the low notes echo in a cello is so beautiful

This made me teary-eyed. I felt like being swayed in a faraway land while the memories of the past be good and bad were enveloping my inner core. Honestly, I am not a fan of cello or of violin because I easily palpitates when I hear a sudden loud or increasing pitch/sound. However, this day, this feeling, this one's - A special exception.
