You can't see us but everyone at HalidonMusic is raising their hands - we definitely know what you mean, Alejandro. Pure beauty is a perfect way to describe it ❤
We can't really pick a favourite season here at Halidon (there are many of us and we have different opinions), but autumn is definitely a wonderful one, both melancholic and soothing 🍁🍂 Were there any pieces that you especially enjoyed? 🎵
Having sad morning. Barber's adagio sooths, as will the rest of the list. Here come the tears (in a cathartic way). 😥 Told you, @Halidon is the soundtrack for my life. ♥️🇨🇦
Barber's Adagio was played for Princess Grace's funeral and I cannot hear it without tears splashing down my face...a more perfect composition was never written to sum up the human condition. Thank You.
What a beautiful compilation of melodies, that touch your soul! Especially Massenet “Tais”- it’s haunting, heart throbbing music. I heard Tais for the first time many years ago, when a pair of Russian figure skaters floated on ice with it. Their performance was unforgettable, strikingly beautiful. Their names were, as I remember, Lyudmila Belousova and Oleg Protopopov. Tchaikovsky’s Elegia is so darkly dramatic, covering you with the veil of sorrow. Maybe because it was played at his grave for the 125 th birhday ( 5/7/1840).
You're right, there's something about the cello that just makes you think of changing leaves and the smell of the forest after rain (or at least that's how it feels to us) 🍂🍁 If you'd like to listen to more cello pieces, here's a playlist you might enjoy 👉 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-YJym5QIC8aY.html
Even if it's winter, music is always with you. No matter what time of the year, it's there for you. Violins and chello, beautiful combination. Thank you so much.
Never cease but to marvel....aye, marvel at the most powerful and positive effect Music has upon our ears, aye indeed upon our very souls, God bless you all....and my thanks to you all for your blessed company...in Music and song.
We couldn't agree more 😍 If you're new to him, we definitely recommend you his suite "Le Grand Cahier" 👉 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-PHmqZ5wo5pE.html and "Tales of the Magic Tree", his pieces for string orchestra 👉 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-IvO__uNG3ew.html
There is a small group of pieces with arrangements for viola. You included one where viola is definitely the shining star, a piece composed by Telemann. Thanks for that. I used to study & play viola in my teens. It contains melancholy at its lowest and versatility at its hights. Arrangements for viola helps go deeper as in a deep journey with just a lamp hanging to our right hand. A profound instrument. Love it. 🍁⭐🍁
We live in a small home, and live very simply, but when listening to this we feel as though we have the grandest life. Thank you for selection. 🍁🍂🍁🍂🌾🌾🌾🌾🍂🍂🍁
