Also since I think it's in order due to the last reaction on Twice and all the crazy onces in the comments. Thank you to all the reactors and to the bts crew for putting so much of your already sparse own time into this. Just know that the majority of people watching you will love any of your reactions because your pov/ input is really interesting so don't feel pressured to react to certain things or to be extra cautious around some subjects because that's what we like about you, your honesty. Watching this reaction video makes me realize how much the difference of the energy with the whole cast, especially yunyi. Everyone just become more careful with their words and didn't really criticize much... wish the twice episode didnt backlash they way it did just because people doesnt share the same opinion and now it affected the casts. Thing is, we recordered this reaction before I published TWICE lol But we did have lots of group conversations/discussions after the TWICE filming happened, so maybe that effected them a little? I also did encourage them a /lot/ to talk about music in this so idk lol

I actually saw that after I wrote my reply. And was thinking of deleting mine. But decided not to...... Even though Yunyi's reaction was not resulted from the comments of TWICE's reaction video, it doesn't diminish the fact that there is online bullying from the comments of that video. And I truly hope that ALL the reactors will not self-monitor their comments from now on. If the viewers were just smart enough to comprehend what Yunyi was really trying to say in that video, they wouldn't have targeted her so badly, but I guess that's just too much to ask. And no, even though they are musicians reacting to music, they shouldn't limit themselves to just focus on the composition, the chords, the vocals.... they should be able to say whatever are in their minds, including the lyrics and messages behind the videos. The fact that we like and enjoy KPOP shouldn't blind us in ignoring all the oppressive and sexist degrading “negative” parts of the Korean and KPOP culture. Oh only because the west is just as bad, or even worst, that we should stop acknowledging and criticizing KPOP? What kind of twisted logic is that?

I noticed that Yunyi wasn't too vocal with her opinions this time around on either the music or the video. I feel like the negative comments from Twice video really hurt her, which sucks cause she was just reacting to it and stating her opinions.

I'm not sure that the reason why Yunyi wasn't as vocal about her opinions in this one was because of the comments from the last video. These were filmed in advanced (one of them said that they filmed on March 31), but I know that it doesn't necessarily mean that Yunyi filmed on the same day
Kanade Tachibana ikr. I wish people didn't hate on her so much. Twice has a huge fandom so I expected it..but I like it when people are honest because that's just their reactions. It's boring to hear "oh that's a good song" "nice voices" all the time. I like people being honest. Even if it hurts...it's their reactions:/ but I feel like the twice vid triggered a lot of people and I hope they can still continue to be honest or voice their opinions out more ;(
since i was one of many whom kinda triggered on the twice react vid, let just me say this..MRJKPOP did react/review on twices songs and he spoke whatever in his mind and he pointed on the lacking & negativity of the music or whatnot, while sadly a scandal hit him and he gone off disabling the comments on all of his videos, his twice react/review didnt get backlash...take a guess why. Next i found this reaction channel, i hope the previous backlash teach some stuffs to the reactors on how to articulate on stuffs they dislike while still being true to themselves..cause this channel actually have music background so the reactors arent judging by feelings alone.
Shame on Kpop fandoms for being overprotective of their idols to a point where a person has to be sorry for sharing their honest opinion (which wasn't even wrong tbh). This is not just for twice either. Being a YG stan I follow BP closely and while I really enjoy the music itself, the lyrics are extremely disappointing in most of their songs. They're shallow and meaningless and that goes for most k-pop songs. As much as I love all my idols I have to say that if I could understand Korean when I heard my first k-pop song I probably wouldn't get into the industry as much as I am today. It's not their fault but whoever is writing the lyrics is not doing a very good job (obv) and their reactions are not an attack at your faves. Grow up *please*

Especially using BTS as an example is hilarious considering some of their content like War Of Hormone and Boy In Luv. Yeah. She deserved the flack for being a hypocrite.

She even said "Dope" was meaningless. She didn't tried to raise anything over anything, they haven't reacted to Boy in luv or War of Hormone. Twice lyrics are really sexist, there is no way to deny that, she just pointed that a group can be sexy or cool , and a song can be catchy without falling into dumb and harmful stereotypes.

I love seeing the different tastes and preferences of each of the musicians. They all love music so much as to respect it and acknowledge the positive qualities, even if they don't like it, and point out the negatives. That gives me so much respect for this group of reactors.

I really hope that you guys recover from this and stay true to your reactions and opinions. the reason why I love this channel is because of the honest critism that real musicians can provide. I love how honest everyone is in their reactions and opinions. People don't like the same things and that is what drives creativity at some fundamental point. The best part of the reactions when they don't like something is that they explain why in a very polite and educational way. On a lighter note Peyton and Jared could have their own comedy routine! I love how Jared is the extra one and Peyton is the voice of reason!

Yeah basically we're filming ahead of schedule right now so I can continue to edit and publish all the reactions on I have on the google doc until the next school year begins. We won't be able to immediately react to any comebacks in mid may-august. Over the summer I will continue to add videos to the to-react playlist with groups who have a comeback during out summer break ;3 Yunyi won't be back, another reactor who is staying anonymous atm will also be taking a break, and ben (who you just met here) is graduating but lives close so will come and go. So yes, we will loose a few reactors but never fear just more amazing nerdy people that we all love will join the team in their place!

Yunyi, there was absolutely nothing wrong with your reaction on the TWICE video. It was measured and genuine. There was also nothing wrong with the comments made by Hugo, Lindsey or Fiona, which were similar. They are your opinions and you are entitled to them. Personally, I think there was a lot of validity to them but even if I didn't agree with your comments - so what? Your reaction is your reaction. One of the reasons that I and others love this channel is because you are all so natural, genuine and honest in your opinion. For months, kpop fans have been whinging about reactors faking their reactions to kpop - would the people criticising you prefer you faked your reaction or would they prefer that your reaction is genuine? I know what I prefer. I really hope that you won't feel the need to censor what you have to say, just because some kpop fans are too immature to accept a critique/reaction they don't agree with. Please keep doing what you have all been doing - giving us fun, genuine reactions. lol, well I left leeway for the musical aspect I couldn't hear but on the whole the group seemed a lot more "reserved" in expressing viewpoints this go around. Don't let some pissed off fans deter your opinion. Vocal majors react to Sohyang's I Always Miss You & Fate please, which are two of her best performances in musical sense. I BEG YOU!!! And maybe Son Seungyeon's IS2 performances as well, the lady knows how to resonate like crazy. One of the best belters in Kpop (only matched by Davichi's Lee Haeri in the idol scene).

It really saddens me that Yunyi couldnt express her opinions in this video, all because viewers couldnt handle criticism. After all, its REACT channel not a PRAISE EVERY GROUP channel. As classical musicians, they should be able to express their criticism freely, not praise songs just to appease crazy fans.
