If no one figured it out, their concept for this comeback was based on puss in boots ( the movie and character ). The idea that a pair of boots can completely shift your confidence and make you capable of anything. Or in this regard, their confidence is exuded externally and they can make someone fall for them with their charm. If you watch the movie, you'll catch the similarities. Also, the cat at the end of the video signified puss in boots. And thats what the boots and hats also signified throughout the mv.

To be really honest here i think Gugudan are the decent girl group that are most talented out there. They always changed their concept but many people doesn't realize it. They all can sing despite they have amazing rapper in there but again many people doesn't realize it. But k-react always recognized their talent which is one of the reason i subscribed to them until today. Guys let's make Gugudan won they really deserve it. I know it imposibble but we can make anything possible if we united ;) Edit: i mean the most decent gg that are new or just debuted something like that😹
mibudas usually when they put stuff on the do not react to list it means it wasn’t musically interesting enough to react to. like the reactors would have nothing to comment on. that doesn’t mean it’s a bad song, just not musically interesting enough

gotta admit, i been sleeping on gugudan but not anymore thanks to thiiiiisssss woah theyre amazing!! tbh i thought its just one of those bland girl groups that dont really stand out that much, but yea this definitely had a really interesting sound and their vocals are great!!

I'm so glad ReacttotheK did a review for The Boots. I can't stand it when people blindly hate just about everything about Gugudan. This group has everything from skill to look, and their songs are amazing too. People on Asian Junkie sh*t on the group name all the times but they have to admit Gugudan music is the best out of the groups with IOI members. These talented and kind girls deserve more support!
Ugh The Boots is one of my favourite songs and I think it's the first time that Gugudan really stood out to me and shined as a group. Also, I know that you won't be reacting to 'Black' by Lee Hyori, but you should totally give 'White Snake' on her album a listen as well. I'm under the impression that there is enough there that is worthy of reacting to, but I could be wrong. I also suggest checking out Anck Su Namum by Yezi!.
I will never regret stanning gugudan more than any other girl groups out there. And I agree about the bridge part having it short but ugh everytime sejeong does it especially on their live stages I was like "yeah girls take me and show me the magical world of yours!" 😍
I like these videos cause it's nice to see someone get as excited about the details as the fans do! People think K-pop fans are just here for the good looks and catchy bits but a lot of us got into K-pop because we love the detail and production of it... These music majors always pick up on the interesting parts of the song.
This one showed much more contrast because of the different meters amd textures (the other one resembled the original arrangement), but it would have been nice if they reacted to that in this video as well
