I think the vocal fry may be a lot more natural than they think. I saw a video of them performing limitless on a radio show and Taeyong did the vocal fry there. I'm not even a fan of NCT. Limitless is just a class A song.

I might be wrong here, but Hugo was not talking about the vocal fries(?) he does at the end of his lines, like on the word "up" but the really deep mecahnical sound that comes just after Marks rap finishes. That sound is not natural at all, but if you have a video explaining it i would love to see it

-NCT 127 did explain the story behind Firetruck. They were her guardians and if you watch carefully they were protecting her from bad situations and towards the end they do a quick flash of images of fire from each scene before. -Taeyong actually could do that deep growl sound.

Yeah... I thought it was obvious that that was what was happening... I have literally thought that was the story since it came out. ':D Like, unwanted guy goes up to this teenage/young adult girl at a party/club. And then we see a slightly older woman having trouble at work, and so on.

VanillaFlavoured IceCream He's almost everywhere, but he wasn't in Without You unit. And it's just three months. Mark just debuted three months earlier. Not much of a difference considering both him and Haechan haven't got any real rest since they've debuted, and Haechan is younger.

@@iskara012 no its chinese han characters, ancient korea and japan took writing system from china because they didn't have any of their own, and thats a fact, you can look it up. Even Hanja in korean technically means 'The writing of Han' which was a dynasty in China. Get your facts right

@@kw672 you'll also know if you research more that although kanji amd hanja are originating from chinese hanzi, a lot og the characters have either being adapted to the usage of each respective language (korean and japaneze) and that some characters have different usages and meanings. So the three are distinct in certain ways.

To Henry in Firetruck: Yes, they are following her! They are basically like her guardians/protectors and if you watch the scenes closely she is usually getting picked on. At the end when she's an old lady she moves to protect her grandchild :D

NCT's music is definitely 'getting into the vibe' ... As far as my experience goes as a Kpop fan, their music is heavily experimental (SM's trademark) and not everyone can like every song of theirs, but if u do like their stuff, you'd want to hear more!

The story behind Fire truck is that there is a girl and she has her "angels" with her (the nct members). And every time she's in danger they'll appear like a firetruck would if you're in danger. The singing part near the end has some flashbacks where you can see what danger she was in. In the first case her sand castle caught on fire, then in school the chemical experiments went wrong, then someone paid the man to hit on her (maybe to kidnap and drug her?) after that I'm not sure myself, her boss seems to has a disk with "top secret" on it and used it on her computer. When she sits on the table with her family the electricity thing caught fire. Then when she was old or passing away, the angels went to her kid to be his angels now :) hope this helps!! love your reaction guys :) EDIT: I wish you would've shown them the dance practice :c

one of the vocal line, sings as background vocal and harmony instead. although he always does great doing whatever task he’s been appointed, I’d still prefer him having more actual lines. but then his voice quality and the way he gives a very pleasant and unique colour to the song by being the back vocals is just, urgh, so AWESOME. I’m conflicted, I don’t know what’s best for my son, so I’ll let him decide for himself and hopefully he’ll discover that he’s got so much possibilities and SM gives him the opportunity.

No, actually I don't really mind their outfit. I love them as the way they are XD (although I pitied them for wearing such an outfit lol) But it's just... on rookies show they were able to showcase a cool stage with various song from bubbly, calm, mellow, cool to sexy songs they've performed all and I thought "Wow it's really cool!! So they're all capable to do all these genre and actually pretty good". +Bluerose Jey omg yes! Johnny singing is love! I hope he gets to sing instead of rap! They’re all very talented and well trained, it’s refreshing how they can do all those stuff without making me cringe. I didn’t think we could find a group that can make all those different genres work and still be themselves (other than SHINee and f(x), these two are like trendsetters in K-pop), but here they are. NCT has a lot of potential, can’t wait to see more of their works. They’re making a comeback next month I think, hope it’s gonna be good.

The story behind Firetruck is that NCT are the guardian angel of this one girl. When she's a child and making a sand castle, they wash it with water guns because, as shown in 2:45, there was a fire starting in the sand. When she's in a classroom, there's a fire starting in a beaker in the class room at 2:46. When she's a teen and in the hallway, the guy who came to kiss her was actually only kissing her because of a bet as shown by the money being exchanged at 2:47. And at the workplace she's being scolded by her boss for something that she didn't do wrong. Somebody stole her office company's secret files as shown at 2:50. And when she's an adult and sitting with her family at the table, they spray water because a socket behind the kid was on fire as shown at 2:51. And basically at that point the girl has realised that NCT has been saving her life all along. And the last scene where she's old now and in her chair, sleeping or dead, NCT is now approaching her grandson because they're going to protect her future generations. Note: all the times are the times of this video and not the MV.

Nct said in the Behind the scenes of the mv that the video is about them being the "guardians" of the girl. So they protect her through all her life (yes, its always the same girl, the guessed it right 😂😂) and then they go to her grandson.

Firetruck's meaning is the members are the girls guardians throughout her life. They follow her and protect her from bad situations. In the music video at the end you can see little fires in places and the "creepy older guy" got money to talk to her or something. I'm not 100% sure on this but I saw something about it

Xin Ee YES. I love that these guys actually have varied reactions and discussions and it gives me fresh perspective on music. Like as an Indian who listens mostly only to korean music, kpop and otherwise, I didn't know NCT had what was considered a generic sound. I loved their bass lines and their dope ass choreo.

It's funny how they all love superhuman so much but back in 2017 they couldnt recognize the power Limitless has. It just goes to show how ahead of time Limitless was and how little recognition a group will get when they are in their early stages of their career, regardless of how good it is.
