Serge Lama composed a song which is simultaneously one of the most dramatic ever written AND is highly melodic. Full marks to Serge. When he first published it in the 1970s, sung by himself, it was not a great success. It has since become a classic - especially when sung by Lara Fabian. As we can hear from Ms Coponat, it also makes a superb piano piece.

Une petite question cependant , il y a de si grosse difference entre la version originale qui date d'environ 50 ans (un peu plus jeune que moi ;) ) de Serge Lama et la version de Lara Fabian de je sais plus quand (je dirais les années 90 surement au alentour de 1994 mais pas tres sur) ?
