Tina Setkic was 17 yo when she recorded this. She is french and is known ww to be one of the most skilled electric guitar shredder that ever surfaced on this earth. She specialized in covering metal hardest masterpieces between the age of 13 and 17 and was praised and saluted by the likes of Pink Floyd, Eddie Van Halen, Steve Vai, Jason Becker, … She also covered translations of classic music masterpieces for electric guitars. Aside Moonlight Sonata, and when she was younger, she also covered for instance Vivaldi’s Four Seasons or Paganini’s 5th Caprice. Moonlight Sonata was the last video she uploaded before focusing on her studies. She was silent for years and just emerged back 2 weeks ago, updating her YT and ITGM profile, and announcing she is now playing within a brand new band. We are awaiting her new uploads or some concert dates.

Did she went to school for music studies
@ericsicard910
@ericsicard910 Год назад
@@PJAlphaMusic no I don’t know exactly. Her family was living in a school that was delivering 2 type of studies: business management and computer science engineering. Her father was in the staff there and her brother and sister pursued studies directly in this famous school. So there is a possibility she did the same but I really don’t know, she has been completely silent and invisible during several years. But I know the name of her electric guitar teacher: Renaud Louis-Servais. He is a famous guitar hero in France and a famous guitar teacher ww. He has for instance also been the teacher of Dany Villareal, the lead guitarist of the mexican band The Warning. Renaud used to be the one that recorded all of Tina’s videos. But he was left in the dark as well when she suddenly disappeared. At least, now she is back. And we will get access again to her insane artistry.

So i don't have Instagram, and on her RU-vid i don't really see anything new. Only maybe her avatar picture has changed, and she looks a bit older there and she stays so it could be in a band ? 🤔 But good to hear that she is hopefully back and does some music again 😲🤘🏼

I read somewhere that a music professor slowed down her performance and decided that she didn't miss a note. Now that is saying something about her ability and acuity. I've read other pianists say the same thing and were blown away by this rendition. It took her 3 months to learn this piece and it was done in one take.

I love the "what the hell is happening" look on people's faces the first time they experience her playing. She started learning classical guitar at age six (which you can tell by how she holds the guitar in this vid). She was 17 when this was recorded. I love her little smile at the end, where it looks like she didn’t even break a sweat, as if she's saying: "And that, ladies and gentlemen, is how it's done". Tapping, hammer ons, pulloffs, bends, harmonics and mad flat picking. Ya gotta wonder what Ludwig would say if he came back and watched this. Aside from everything else, this is a master class in guitar techniques. I tried tapping along, to the bits where she is tapping, just trying to match the rhythm and not even trying to land on the strings and failed miserably. I think I'll take up the tuba.

Maybe it's time to meet 5 beautiful ladies in high heels and dresses playing classic heavy metal? For starters, I recommend the song Break the Wall from their earlier albums. Boasting over 70 hit singles, they won Best New Metal Band at the Metal Hammer Awards in 2018. The girls play heavy, thrash, power and prog metal, they also have some beautiful ballads - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-5Pc0XK0lNmU.html

 @PJAlphaMusic : "Did she went to school for music studies ?" - Tina went to the Music Conservatory in her town to learn music theory at the age of 6, and at 7 she learned classical guitar on an Alvaro. She only plays for fun. At the age of 13 she wanted to play the electric guitar and she was trained by teacher Renaud Louis-Servais who lives near her, and at the age of 14 she released her first video with Eruption . A complete metamorphosis with an incredible precision game, she seeks perfection.

@@PJAlphaMusiczy ? Lol, dude just called a classical masterpiece lazy. Dude do you even know the meaning of lazy ? Because writing 3 movements classical piece of music is definetly the opposite of that
@winebartender6653
@winebartender6653 Год назад
Personally, I think of the second movement as our brains way of glorifying a new feeling. It brings in a dream like state before encountering reality. It's an important part of the entire sonata if we view it as a story being told through music. Many of Beethoven's works follow the same narrative and expansion. They are stories, each part mimicking a part of the human feeling. Whether it's love, despair, curiosity or otherwise. @rickkemp1 I don't think it's necessary to attack someone's opinion of a piece of music. At the end of the day, what we appreciate or dislike about a piece is our own and there is nothing wrong with that. Arguing or slinging insults because someone else's opinion does not fit our own is a waste of time and genuinely just wrong. What I love in a piece of music someone else might hate. There is a reason different genres exist. Whatever piece of music, it could be Brittany Spears for all I care, someone enjoys(or dislikes) for whatever reason is good enough for me. Being elitist about the interpretation of a piece of music only makes you look shallow and unable to care about the most important part of music: the concept of personal expression.
