Classical Singer First Time Reaction- Harry Styles | Falling. Rich Pop Voice! Great Song! 

Harry's new album Fine Line is phenomenal. His order of songs are key to the journey he had been on personally over the last couple of years. Falling was written as a result of a relationship breakdown that made him question who he was becoming and that he didn't like it. If you listen to Fine Line beginning to end you can see the ups and downs of this journey.

They built a set, had it on a crane and lowered it into the water. It wasn't CGI. You should check out more stuff from Harry.

Hi. Thank you for reacting. As for the music video, it's not CGI. They built a room and they lowered the room with him inside in a heated pool (It was shot in January) using a crane. So everything in it was real. It was most probably an old piano that doesn't work. The symbolism of the water flowing from the piano and drowning him (in my opinion) is that he's pouring all his emotions out in his music but still it's suffocating him. Please check out his debut single Sign of the Times; Fine Line (title track of his sophomore album) Another artist I enjoy listening to is ZAYN. Others in the comments have already told of the logistics of this video which from what I've read are accurate. The story behind the song revolves around his ex girlfriend Camille Rowe, as does the majority of his sophomore album Fine Line. The beginning of the album speaks to the euphoria of a new love and the giving of ones self to the excitement one feels, but falls away to the pain of the loss of the relationship. If you look closely you will see the Eiffel Tower through the windows as they open, Camille Rowe is an American/French model. The album winds through to the pettiness he dealt with at the close their time together, the remainder of the album is Harry's personal journey through life. Harry has explained this in interviews with Rolling Stone, Zane Lowe and other articles and interviews. As moving as this video is, it doesn't, in my opinion, capture the raw pain he felt as Harry's performance at The Brit Awards 2020 which occurred within days of several very impactful things in Harry's life I am one of Harry's oldest fans and think he is an amazing young artist who has the talent and ability to become an icon of his generation. 🐾⚓🐾

What killed me was that the piano was hand-painted with beautiful designs. The artist posted some photos of her finished work. All that for it to get ruined in the process of making this beautifully shot music video. Just shows the level of detail he likes in all his work.

There is an article that I read about how they made this video. It is not CGI. They really did have him underwater. Obviously, there is a section of the video you can hear him breathing in between him singing the words. So, you know that they overlayed that part of his sung song onto the video of him seemingly singing under water. But, no CGI was done.

I heard about Harry Styles when his first single came out and somebody wrote that he's the new David Bowie which got me really upset. How to compare this baby to the great one. After I listened to his album I really liked it a lot and over the time he is one of my most heard artists

Lovely reaction and a great song. His entire fine line album is pretty good. I think you should react to his song "Sign of the times", it's from his other album (his debut album to be specific) he's got a great live performance of it on the Graham Norton show in case you want to see something live. I don't know if you're willing to do audio only recordings so I'll stick to video and lives. He's song Adore you is more upbeat if you want to hear that side of his voice. If you want to react to the Adore you music video make sure you react to the extended version and not the official version. The extended version is the original version, the official version cut out a lot of stuff in order to make it easier to stream listen on RU-vid. Have a nice day

I think that the opening shot of him on the floor, soaked, is the *end* of the video; he's literally poured his feelings out and come out in one piece. In terms of rap (I'm no expert!) you might like "Black" as performed live at the Brit awards by the British rapper Dave. It's very intense and moving. Mr Styles performed "Falling" at the same event and it too is very moving; he'd recently been robbed at knife point and then an ex girlfriend took her own life, and his feelings are evidently very raw.

After "Dunkirk" water is definitely his element!

The set was built of steel i believe and was painted to look like wood, except for the items that were floating of course. And they had a huge tank of water and they lowered him and the set into the tank to fill it gradually while filming. They did a couple of takes i believe

I truly think Harry is one of the strongest pop vocalists out there now. He’s truly more rock/blues but does pop perfectly. He doesn’t do the hipster “cursive” singing like a lot of people do now. There’s no vocal affectation and you can actually hear his lyrics. I prefer the deep baritone of his first album but he likes to play around with where his vocals sit. His 3rd album is in a different range. I suggest his live performances because he just doesn’t miss. I really like his NPR Tiny Desk concert. And this song Live at the Brit Awards is wonderful.

Harry's every lyrics and songs are about his relationship with louis tomlinson. How they used to go to the beach wood cafe, he said:"I'm a well aware I write too many songs about you!" And if you notice, when the window opens, you can see the Eiffel Tower!! Cause paris is louis favorite city.... he is screaming his love for louis. And just let himself drawn cause he can't have him right now and at this moment.....

Bit late to the party, I was just catching up with your Dimash reactions (all very thoughtful and well expressed) and spotted this video. Others have explained the mechanics of the room in the video but I just thought I’d suggest how the underwater singing might have been done (I work in the visual effects industry). Harry would probably have been filmed underwater with his mouth closed, and from the same angle without the water while singing the song. In post, as much of his singing face as necessary can then be extracted and warped onto the underwater footage, then overlaid with surface reflections from the water (with no Harry). As others have said, the live performance of ‘Falling’ from the Brit Awards is worth watching - vocally it’s even richer and very emotionally intense. It was a particularly difficult time for him. There are a number of songs on Harry’s first two solo albums which could be read as tracing the later emotional path and consequences of a possible long-term relationship between himself and Louis Tomlinson, including this one (presumably being among the ‘too many songs about you’ that he writes). He’s also included a couple of cover versions of songs in his live shows which seem pretty personal choices fitting that narrative (Little Big Town’s ‘Girl Crush’ and Shania Twain’s ‘You’re Still The One’). i think you would really like a lot of harry's songs. i suggest if you want another visual experience with a good song watching adore you (extended version) otherwise you only get the song and half a story that doesn't make much sense.

If you are looking to introduce yourself to a little rap...A really great performer from China who has a beautiful voice and raps as well is Hua Chenyu...he is a very surprising artist because each of his songs is different from the other and you never know what you are going to get each time you listen to him (no matter what..it's all fantastic). One of my all time favorite artists (not rap, lol) is Park Hyo Shin from South Korea...He is known for his beautifully emotional ballads. My favorite video is his performance of "Wildflower" Yu Huiyeol's Sketchbook / 2017.07.26. He performed this song for President Trump a few years ago at a state dinner in South Korea.
