One reason that makes her standout in her performances is how meticulous she is while singing. Many reactors commented that on her awkward side of the mouth singing without giving an explanation, I believe its a technique to prevent mic peaking? .. Also, her breath intake is more evident here than most of her performances. I think it was intentional because this is a song of struggle? Such a consummate performer !

Thank you for your awesome reaction! Yes.... she's really unique among Asian Singers (Far East). Most of them when they use their high belts it's thinning out their voices. This is one of the reasons why Morissette stands out among the Asian Singers. If you quantify her talent among all young Philippines Singers, she'll be on top and that's my observation being a non Filipino. Morissette introduces me to some Filipino Singers but then it happened the so called Fandom wars, I completely stopped watching them. I don't want trouble, I just want to enjoy the music and be entertained and that's what Morissette is giving me. They are so Toxic especially when Morissette suffered from vocal problem that was 2018 when she barely have enough vocal rest because of her hectic schedule in and out of the country. The funny thing... in spite of the connivance of all the other Filipino Singers fans trying to bring her down the more Morissette is becoming famous worldwide. Good thing she was able to take her rest during this pandemic. I spotted toxic fan of other Filipino Artist here disclaiming that Morissette was not under the weather in this performance. Yes, she was not feeling well. Prior to this performance, the Dj of the Wish Bus interviewed her and Mori said she's been suffering from flu and even she's coughing during the interview. If you noticed she's swallowing her saliva and inevitable rasp in her voice. Just a piece of advice to all the Filipinos, learn to respect, support, unite and market your Singers to the world. ✌

When you say 'whistle' I'm not sure if you're talking about her intentional vocal breaks or the distorted sound in the audio. The original video has been removed by youtube and this has been uploaded over and over which kinda messed up the original audio so it now has that distorted, high pitch sound in the background.
