I grew up near a Alfa/Fiat shop in the Los Angeles area, my father was a freelance mechanic and we would go to that shop to turn drums rotors and press bearings and I remember the owner had about 15-20 of those Alfas from race trim with rollcages to mint collector quality ones, but even the nicest examples were around or under 20k and some race ones were as low as 6-8k, it is the 90s were talking about, but the prices on these have grown exponentially lol.
Great cars but lousy video production mainly because they played stupid music when driving the red street car. What motor head wants that versus the sound of that car's exhaust at revs. That would be much better music for a lot of us. The interviewer kept cutting the guy off or maybe too much so. Great car owner, irritating presenter/interviewer.
Correct...and each had its place in history....the 1300 was developed to beat government taxation based on engine displacement....the true Veloce should have a 1600....plain and simple...as you so eloquently said...."WTF"....MIC DROP DAWG....NOTHING CAN STOP ME I'M ALL THE WAY UP...
Lol. What a bunch of nonesense. This cars are meant to be driven, they are meant to be enjoyed by their owners. With +40 years on their shoulders, it is totally fine that people restore them and make the improvements needed. No person with IQ > 80 looks at Singer or Alfaholics and goes.. "that's not the standard engine".
To me it becomes "butchered" once an engine from a different auto maker is swapped in, but I get your point, if a car is being passed a "purebreed" it should have the right pedigree lol
I’m sorry but this channel is just not good. No real car knowledge or research. No interesting questions. The hostst love to hear themselves talk a little too much too. I say this after trying to watch many of your videos.
For the majority of viewers who are not sixty years old, they would not know of these type of car’s existence. So these small walkarounds of the early vehicals is interesting and enlightening. If you don’t like it leave. Your sarcastic comments aren’t required.
