The world lost Shane five years ago, but his legacy will never fade. Combining rare footage and a ripping full part, this Volcom vid was a great dedication to an amazing skater and person.
Wow i remember the first time i saw this video i had 15 years old, now I'm about to be 27 and i still feeling the pain of his lost, such a good skater.
Salvador Reyes everyone makes stupid mistakes. It was almost 10 years ago and Shane was also at fault for getting on a motorcycle with a drunk person in the first place. But I'm sure you've never made a mistake right?
i started skateboarding in 2006 when i was 12.. this dude was the first skater to influence me to start. its amazing how you can miss someone you never met. RIP and happy birthday legend, your boards never coming off my wall.
One of those dudes that just looks so comfy on his skate!!!And a dude that ANYONE would love to be around!!!I hope he can see the love in all of these comments!!!Love and miss you my guy!!
Every time he smiles makes me smile it contagious dude. Such a good skate and ya he is similar to Herman. R.I.P last song is Friday on my mind by the easybeats, btw
This made my day. Shane is an inspiration to all skateboarders, just watch any of his footage, never once do you see him complain or anything. He just happy to be given the opportunities he was given and lived everyday to the fullest. I will always remember Shane Cross.
Shane Cross never ceases to amaze me. He will always be remembered for how fun he makes skateboarding look. The world needs more people like shane, and it's a shame that his time came so soon. Anyone who can 50-50 el toro for a joke will always have my respect. Shane did what not very many skateboarders can do now a days, he became a legend. R.I.P SHANE CROSS Have fun shredding in heaven, because we sure miss you here.
Loved how he just laughed it off. even over 10 years later this is crazy, that man had no fear just passion and love. Lewis and Shane were taken from us way too soon. Love the both of them.
It wasn't even a big deal to him either he laughed off the bails. What a legend that were taken taken away too damn soon. Love you Shane Cross. Rest in peace you immortalized yourself in such a quick time span.
Clean style that looks good on any terrain liked the Toro smith oh middle rail how we miss you too rip bud always remembered by skaters and great footage like this helps us remember the good ol days
Shane had one of the most effortless styles the game could ever offer. Soo smooth with his handrails. You can clearly see the progression of his youth to his prime. Such a shame the lord had to take him early. His legacy will still live on through out the world of Skateboarding. I had the opportunity of seeing him ONCE..still feels like yesterday that he was throwing smith grinds down handrails with no worries. R.I.P Cross.
Me and my friends grew up on let's live, I would always try to catch it on Fuel Tv when they play it, this part brings back memories, my friend gave me that photo of him when he Ollie into that steep bank at the end, I still have it hanging up on my wall. R.I.P Shane Cross, and Ali hope you find peace.
Shane was always at peace, Every time he fell down, He would smile and get back up and try again. Shane is a legend and will live on through the spirit of skateboarding. Shine on you crazy diamond.
I still remember when he passed. It was a huge blow to the skate community and it was all people talked about. Everybody really hated Ali after that too and were saying crap like "Ali shouldve died instead cause hes a burnout" It was real messed up. Just an all around sad situation.
This is sick, this kid rips! I don't keep up with street skating much, but it's terrible to hear that someone who had so much talent left us. Just from this video I can tell he was a pretty awesome guy, and a nice person. Too many times have I met a street skater who was always an angry jerk. R.I.P Shane Cross. I bet he's tearing it up in the skatepark in the sky.
I was in high-school checking Transworld in computer class when the news came threw he had passed back then I was really into flip it still makes me sad that he died so young rip Shane
Man, when I found out he passed it was such a major blow. Was on a all star team surrounded by legends, you know he would have been one of the best. Just a fearless style.
He was extremely talented and one of the best. His front over crookd grind in his flip part was insane down El Toro. Miss Shane so much. He was and still is legendary forever!
