I used to watch this on VHS everyday. Actually the whole mosaic video. Kids these days don't realize how special these tapes were to have back then. RU-vid has us all spoiled. Instagram too but I don't do that shit.
I was 2 years old when you this video came out I have zero recollection of it obviously especially considering the fact I didn’t skate til I was 13. So incredible to go back in time and see this shit. Truly beautiful.
crazy that he skated switch more than regular ... deserves the best skate shoe silhouette of all time to this day. switch flip in on a hand rail in this era? unreal
I read somewhere that this guy tried proposing his ideas for the "Janoski" shoe to Etnies when he was riding for them, but they weren't interested in it. Something tells me if they did release it it would have affected the timeline of skateboarding.
Mid 90's to early 2000's skating was so pure just for the love of thrashing....way before super major sponsors and NIKE SB....just the homies and a beat up ass camera...those were the days...STEFF is the king of half-cab flips!!!
It's funny cuz seriously last night I was watching some of his parts on RU-vid then this morning I see this uploaded. Super sick though his switch is soo amazing
Idk what makes this part so fucking gnar. Obviously stefan shredding like a mad man has something to do with it, but it makes me feel so nostalgiac, and I wasn't even skating back when this came out. It just AOIUDNWAIODNAIWONFUCK.....I love it.
This guy is what made me want to skate, his style and flow is a one of a kind. Watched this part hundreds of time.. Kind of sad that he's mainly recognized for his shoe now.
It's driving me nuts and I can't find the answer.. What was Stefan's shoe sponsor before Nike? I feel like the company came and went but I totally can't remember what that company was
