Classification of Membranous Nephropathy 

Dr. Sanjeev Sethi an Anatomic Pathologist at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, and Dr. Shane Bobart, a Nephrologist from Cleveland Clinic in Weston, FL, review their article appearing in the March 2021 issue of Mayo Clinic Proceedings, where using serology, immunostaining and/or mass spectrometry, they discovered specific disease-related antigens for classifying membranous nephropathy. Previously known as Primary and Secondary, these classifications will aid clinicians in targeted treatment options for malignancy and auto-immune conditions identified.
