I would recommend reading the LN for now. It is superior to the anime and explains a bit more. Plus, I feel like the narrative of Ayanokouji is genius and one to check out because his thoughts are very scrambled and subtle. In total, I hope they redo the show from the beginning over for the stuff they messed up, but a season 2 would be awesome as well

This video is actually part of a master plan! Crunchyroll has decided to take action by uploading the first episode of COTE. This then riles up the viewers into wanting season 2 (s2). The viewers will then protest and spread the word throughout the whole world, and will increase the chances of getting a remake and possibly getting a season 2 (s2). If I may,I'd like to pose this question... "Are all human being truly equal?" Nowadays people never shut up about the need for equality. As a wise man once said, "Heaven does not create one person above or below another" But the quote doesn't end there. It actually says we're equal at birth,but then garps appear. That the differences are the result of one's academic efforts, or lack thereof. At any rate, humans are capable of thinking for themselves. "Equality" may be a false concept, but our inequality remains a difficult thing to accept.

FYI: Nietzsche's quote should properly be translated as "What is bad?" not "What is evil?". Nietzsche talks at length about the difference between evil and bad, in fact Nietzsche famously argues for abandoning the concept of good and evil.

My theory is that Crunchyroll is releasing these animes to see which ones get the most attetion so that they will see if they can get the rights to make a season 2. That is just a theory, but it would explain why they are posting these first episodes of animes from years past.

20:20 an example of one of the many issues with an otherwise entertaining anime is how everyone receives the same punishment despite not everyone deserving it. There are individual assessments, but Kiyotaka Ayanokōji got 0. They took the time to showcase him setting the trash can back, so giving him nothing was a poor writing decision. This sort of thing happens a lot, where either they foreshadow something that doesn't happen or they don't foreshadow a twist while pretending they did.

I think it was good since it would kinda overcomplicate things if there were different punishments for various levels of incompetence I guess it's the same thing as sports or team based games regardless how well u do you'll ultimately still lose if carried down by your team
