There was an interview a few months ago that kadowaka said they want to do 3 more seasons of Classroom of the elite after the success of the anime OUTSIDE OF JAPAN, I thought it was false, but it may be true after all, since we got the season 4 announcement this soon 😂

It's crazy how COTE is easily on the the most famous pyslogical modern anime yet old anime do a way better job in covering the source material like Code Geass which had to get a Pizza Hut sponsorship to continue.

I love the series because how it looks into human development and personalities to show who overcomes which situation using their own tactic. Kiyotaka Ayanokoji is brilliant but he still knows he was to learn a lot. it like the dunning kruger effect where he is hides his abilities knowing there is more to learn. (I know dunning kruger is not exactly that but. i dont have words to explain.) I see why people who really appreciate the series is not happy with the anime adaptation. I understand the speculation of season 4.

Honestly as an anime fan, I don't mind light readers saying the light novel is better, but by saying the anime is trash, You know your lying to yourself right, Kadowaka and even your author said the anime is more popular than the light novel itself 😂😂

The entire point of S2 & S3 Was to rush and get to Year 2. Similar to the Manga Year 2, they got a new style and approach to making it. I believe they will do a much better job, and likely 25 episodes.

The only good thing about it this time is the fact that Y2V1 is its separate exam, Y2V2 - V4 is kind of the same thing, so I feel like itll be easier to pack more info than if each volume covered entirely separate matters. Even though the key visuals look ass, I'm hoping that not as much will be cut because of just what's covered in these volumes

Honestly as a light novel reader I've come to terms with the adaptation, the reason is simple, the anime is meant to target the anime community, not the light novel community And ironically it's working, the anime fandom has more fans than the light novel fandom like us

I'm not to fond of the art style shown in the key visual tbh, but I'll try to give it a chance at least. I really hope they start having more episodes counts, like at least have each season be 24 episodes or something around that area so it doesn't feel so rushed

if they are planning to make 24 episodes for the season...i will be plenty satisfied even if they change animation or studio...seriously it just need good adaptation...to do that u just have to choose between good animation with 12episodes or good adaptation with 24episodes....i guess we just cant have both...maybe people are complaining so much that they plan to change format into 24episodes and tone down animation part...if it is like that i am completely okay with it

just finished reading the "I like you, Ayanokouji-kun!" from yk who during the year 2 island exam on his way to I2. tbh I feel like most of the year two I read would not be fit for an anime because at times it seems like nothing happens for a few chapters or everything is moving really slowly. i wish good luck to whatever studio has to take on this challenge (ill watch it all the way through no matter what though)

If you judge the anime on its own, i think it's fine. The teaser for s4 looks fine, & i know at least 1 of the new characters is a white room student. Even as an anime onlly, i know thers numarus stuf from the LN that's either left out or overlooked, which is a real shame. It's unfortunate that we rearlly get more than 12 episodes a season, leaving little room for character development & poorly paced story progression.
