In the calming corner, you can put the plushy in and explain that it is his job to control the anxiety or whatever it is.. so squeeze him while your calming to give all your anxiousness and fear and anger to him to let him do his job. Or something like that!!

Love the small furry stools. If you feel like you have too much white in the writing center, you can always dye the white furry part of it to add more color to the space.
