I had one Student of the Day that did all of the jobs. It saved a lot of time always figuring out who had which job and the kids loved it! Just a thought to make your life easier.

I love watching your room set up videos. I actually used one of your ideas and put all the stuff I needed to deal with in one big pile. For future reference, you can take dental floss and wrap it around your fingers (like you’re about to floss your teeth) and then wiggle/slide it behind that wall tacky stuff to pop it off the wall. It also works for when command hooks break during removal and leave residue - or snaps before you pull it completely off a wall.

Suggestion for your mirror. Secure the mirror to the actual closet door and fit the paper around it. It won't keep falling.

Did the black wall paper come in that size, did you custom order it, or did you already have them cut prior to putting them up? Have you ever thought about moving your desk where you would face your windows giving you an open concept on the carpet and the TV? That way you don’t have to walk around or feel like your sitting behind your desk when teaching. Just a thought. Could you put your TA in the corner by your birthdays? I always enjoy watching your videos. I’m trying to do some classroom set up videos myself so be on the look out. I just have to figure out how to edit them on my phone😬

When you have a student do the pencil sharpener job, is there a certain time they do it? I find the sharpener to be loud and disruptive and-outside of bell work time- there never seems a good time to do it.

Your room is amazing. But, is that your money that you're investing. (It's not my business) I am always frustrated that we have to cry for a better contract but are expected to use our own money. I have 3 kids...not 20.
