Hi…I love your room! Just a tip when trying to glue things…hot glue is your best friend. If trying to hot glue on walls, all you have to do to prevent damage is to put down a strip of masking tape down wherever you want to apply the hot glue and that will prevent damage. Hope that helps!

Hi, watched your vlog for the first time today. I really like your room. I love the colors. I’m starting my 26th year teaching. My 13th in 2nd grade. I teach in Massachusetts about an hour south of Boston.

That's my favorite way to arrange desks in groups. It's nice that half the class is still facing forwards for instruction, yet they can easily work in groups.

I remember when my children were young, I would work Saturday or Sunday morning really early. No one was up at home, it was quiet at school and I could get a lot done without missing time with my family. It was so peaceful and productive.

I’ve found that as well. Time to myself has become so precious, but I can’t sacrifice my equally precious family time. Those quiet hours are wonderful!

You won’t be able to control whether students wear a mask or not, but you should find comfort in the fact that you are more than welcome to protect yourself with a mask! And if you combine that with social distancing and sanitizing, you’re doing all you can do.
