Thank you all for your kindness and support. It's important for my classroom to have a cozy, warm, loving, and happy feel to it. As teachers, we don't know what our students are going home to. It doesn't matter how rich, poor, background, etc. Nobody is exempt from problems. My goal is for my Firsties to be happy learners. ((Hugs)) and Blessings

I love your classroom! I have recently binge watched your videos. I am currently studying Early Childhood Education and special education. I wanted to be a preschool teacher only but lately my heart has been pulling toward 1st grade. I definitely want to go try it for my student teaching experience next year! Thank you for being you. Takes me three days to set up. My teammates are always talking about me and how fast I move. I just usually put my headphone on and go on a mission. This is my classroom all year long. ((HUGS))

Well three days we’ll spent if you ask me. I work in Hong Kong and the children are all off school at the mo - there has been a huge flu outbreak! But it does mean I have time to make my classroom look lovely. I’ll pop some of your videos on in the background while I set up 😊

I love your happy classroom. It is so cheerful and thoughtful. I know it is very simple but I love the the file system you have going on for the kids. I am using that idea. I have so many papers from my students that I find it so hard to sort through them all. I also really love the names you gave each table- super sweet and unique. Thank you for this. Ms. May your room is absolutely fabulous! I love what you did for rule 5 of whole brain teaching. I also use those rules and changed #5 too. I think “keep your dear teacher happy” is a little too much pressure to put on a young child.

I make sure my kiddos are the ones who keep it organize. I tell them I worked hard to get it neat and organized for them. If they want our room to stay that way they must keep it that way. We make messes and all that good stuff but when the clean up song comes on they must get it back to neatness. Everyone in my class has a job. That helps tremendously! Wow, your classroom is very beautiful. I can tell how much much love and work you put in. I love the font you used on your bulletin boards (math, reading, etc.) Did you cut that with a cricut machine or did you print them on coloured paper?

I too would love to decorate full length characters on my classroom wall. I have searched TPT and have only found some that look old, not so up-to-date and stylish like yours does.
