Beautiful classroom! Students learn best when they feel safe and cared for. In a classroom like this, those needs are met. I teach 5th graders, but I still like to create a very similar classroom. I also like my classroom to smell good. I have had students tell me they love my classroom because it is so cool and it smells good!

Your classroom is so homey and inviting, I love it! I’m almost finished with my student teaching semester and am trying to decide on how to organize/decorate a classroom on a budget. Trying to organize and decorate a classroom as a (almost) first year teacher is a little overwhelming and expensive so if you have any tips I’d greatly appreciate it. I’m also going to be teaching near Houston, Texas 😃

@@marissakeepstheheat2 some do! It all depends! Some classes are going to be bare bones. Some might have some built in furniture or provided by the school. Some will have things left behind from others.

Within that product you receive word wall word labels that you can type in or write the sight words you want. I get my sight words to type in from my district.
