I'm so happy to see a REAL classroom. These teachers who post their classrooms on RU-vid are so unrealistic. They look amazing but all I see are things for kids to destroy. Students really do not care about cute. Thank You.
@@Courtneyvlogs101 I just checked my email for the first time today, and they asked if I could move to First grade or if I wanted to stay in 4th grade. What would you recommend that I do? I'm happy with either one. I'm just happy their trying to work on getting teachers together to teach the classes which hopefully means soon the'll be working on getting class lists together.
I subscribed and liked with notifications on ma’am😃👍🏻. I’m a 10th grade student and I want to be a teacher in the future☺️📚. What is your restroom procedures in your classroom and when do you tell them to wait or no? In my classes, there are kids who abuse the restroom privileges by wandering around the halls and not even using it🤦🏻♂️. My 4 teachers do 4 bathroom passes per 9 weeks. I use it at lunch, passing periods and before/after school! I typically use my passes because I stay well hydrated. I’ve had plenty of times I really needed to go but my teacher told me no and didn’t give me permission to go because of them kids ruining it for us good kids😭. I almost had accidents 2 times before because I was told no and I had to wait over a hour but luckily each time I made it I was glad👏🏻. I look forward to future videos on your channel ma’am!
Ryan Faulkner Thank you so much for subscribing! I plan on doing another video today. I might upload tomorrow! Also, my restroom procedure is they are allowed to use it 3 times per day. In the morning when they first get to school, during recess, and at the end of the day. Also during my reading/math rotations when they are not learning directly from me. I have a sign in/sign out sheet by the bathroom door and they sign it when going to the bathroom, just so we can keep track of “someone peed on the toilet seat!”. I have a restroom in my classroom so I got lucky about that. 😂. I tell them no when they ask during my teaching. I tell then if it’s a bad enough emergency they can lose a point in the middle of my lesson. (I use a point system they start on 10s and lose points during the day for bad behavior). I don’t like to deny kids to use the restroom but Of course you always have those Random students who will abuse The bathroom. I think if didn’t have a bathroom in my classroom we use it whole class after lunch, or I would use a pass system like you described. I hope this helps 🤗. Good luck on your teaching endeavor!!!!
Courtney Luttrell that has to be nice to have a bathroom in your classroom I wish we had that😂👏🏻. Thank you for being a understanding teacher ma’am when it comes to bathroom breaks! I agree with getting them no during teaching because they could miss something important!! I agree with them signing in/out and lose a point during teaching it teaches them to ask for permission at a appropriate time! I wish kids would stop abusing it but it happens and sucks🤦🏻♂️. If a kid is abusing it once during one of my classes, my teachers would take our restroom pass privileges away for that day😭. That’s why I’ve been denied permission to go sometimes and it sucks because I would need to go so bad crossing my legs trying my best holding it in until break. It makes it harder for me to focus when I really need to go😂. It’s just them kids abusing ruins it for the good kids like me who follow all the rules!
