What do you mean? These look super comfy. She is literally in sneakers. And it's all loose fits that coverup no matter what you are bending. I can't imagine anything more practical apart from actual sweatpants and a jumper.
Personally I agree with all of these aesthetically. However, I can't imagine going around with a blazer just draped over my shoulders. The moment I have to raise my arms for anything it's going to slide off. So that one's a yes in theory but a no in practice. And the frustrating problem with rolling or bunching up the sleeves of a blazer/coat/sweatshirt is that it looks so good, but unless you live in LA or something, you probably NEED those sleeves to keep you warm! There is like four months of the year that I might be able to get away with having my forearms uncovered. No hate, I genuinely find your videos useful and informative, and I agree with almost all of your points, aesthetically. It's just frustrating that some of them are impractical outside of "doin' in for the 'gram" type situations.
I so agree! Personally I also don’t love the big x mark on that one…like wearing a blazer like a human with a real life is a mistake. But I do love her style and I get that this isn’t supposed to be gospel. Just her opinion. 😊
“The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.” 2 Peter 3:9 NIV ROMANS 10:9-11 “If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame” Matthew 11:28-30 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” “For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”” Luke 19:10 God wants us to believe in His One and Only Son, Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, who died for our sins :D When we truly believe in our hearts that Jesus is the Son of God, who died for our sins so we could have eternal life with God, we are saved from the eternal fire and have eternal life in Christ Jesus!! 💖 May God bless you all! 🕊❤️
Also in 61st style the rolled shirt from back is instantly going to open up & just hang down. It may still look good on a slim person but f8a plus size girlie it just looks ugly or not presentable
I actually liked the first shirt tucked in all the way and the last black collar knit without the white top under it. To each their own though! They all looked great. 😍
1. I'll tuck all of it in as the tail on the back will make my waist look wider than it already is. I'll definitely change the shoes, too. Clean, classic, polished.
#1 but the wrong way 😁 The right way ALWAYS looks like I didn’t have enough time for the toilet break and I had to run while tucking the ends of my shirt on the go. I just can’t pull it out. 😂
The oversized outfits are a trend that go hand in hand with sloppy, comfy outfits that are trendy. If you're going for classic and chic, stay tailored.
The first outfit where you half tuck your shirt, how long is that gonna last ? You walk 10 steps and that tuck is gone ? Not everyone wears clothes just to make videos or take photos. It would be nice if you keep the practicality and functionality of your recommendations for normal people like us.
I'm so happy that those 80s-style high waisted pants are back! They are so femenine and flattering, more much so that those hideous 2000s low cut ones, which gave the appearance of "love handles", even when you didn't really have them
The Olsen twins used to tailor everything and they looked taller. Now they embrace their petite frame with whatever they feel like. They never came for anyone on their ability to wear or create clothes. They just did what they did. They are a perfect example of “figure it out”.
I am short and I have always had Lydia style when dressing. I always get compliments on the way I dress surprisingly. Sometimes you just have to put things together and don’t think too much about height 😊
The first trick with the shirt only looks good if you’ve small hips and a washboard stomach, otherwise it makes you look enormous, and tucking the shirt in all the way around is a way better option in order to define the waist. That massive blazer looks daft on anyone not an actual model and will literally fall off your shoulders when you walk. Stop being such a fashion-victim that you feel the need to wear clothes that don’t look good and aren’t practical, and just get one that fits! The last option of the T-shirt under the polo is fine although beware being labeled “The Fonz” by older family members ;)
Yes! Thank you! I like the way Lydia dresses. I think she's stylish and classy looking. But most of her 'do's & don't' never take into account other body shapes than hers. Most of the things she puts as 'do's' look atrocious on me. If I follow her tips I'll look extremely bad (but trendy, I guess lol).
The oversize trend is not for everyone. Skinny girls look good no matter what, but if you are a bit overweight, it adds extra kilograms. Nice advice, but people has to keep in mind their own body style. Love from Spain ❤
im sorry but ive never understood the “wearing a jacket over your shoulders” because wouldn’t it use fall off the second I have to reach upwards for something? i feel like that would get annoying
Honest question, Where do you get your loose jeans and trousers from? They all look fab on you… I’m trying to find jeans like yours but don’t k ow where to look. Im from the uk also. Pls help. Thanks ❤
You’ve given me dressing ideas in a load of your videos. AND Honest question, what is the difference between the white shirt ☑️ and the black shirt X when tucked on its own other than color? Rhetorical question, how do you wear the rain coat in the rain with pushed up sleeves?
To those who said these are awful tips; most of these are actually current trends (especially in East Asia). That white tee underneath black shirt is back in fashion. The French tuck (first tip) is hella popular nowadays. I only disagree with the oversize blazer drape because it's simply not practical.
Number 1 is just ridiculous and unpractical just as the other ones. You forget that we are normal people that don't act in a video just for a few minutes.
I usually really like your content and your advice is spot on. IMO, this look of a high-waisted, relaxed thigh, ankle pant with tennis shoes or loafers is not becoming on your perfect figure…(much less ladies like me whose figure is “fluffy” 😉) reminds me of “old man pants” and has an illusion of shortening the legs. However, your examples of full length trousers have been incredibly classy lately!
The trend right now is to dress in a glamorous/classy way then to add a fun/ laid back piece such as chunky trainers to elevate the look and make it look less rigid/ classical.
#1 Specific folding as opposed to tucking blouse into pants = helpful. #4 Pairing white T-shirt underneath enhanced look.Fresher, more modern. Will use these tips.Thank u!
No to the last two and do NOT wear trainers why the hell would you do that to yourself is beyond me. Rolling up the sleeves is not a good look, pairing a long oversized coat with fitted trousers or a knee length fitted skirt/dress. A fun thing to do is wear a shorter fitted dress with long over the knee boots to balance the oversized jacket to give shape.
The baggy head-to-toe look can be tricky. Was this trend influenced by rappers or maybe Billie Eillish? It’s a figure concealing look that goes against some classic styling rules. Appreciate the tips!
I don't know about bad game general, but the basic clothing style she's showing looks exactly like what was popular in the 80s. Look up a lot of fashion stuff from the Midway '80s to early nineties, but mostly '80s. Big shoulder pads, the kind of hair she has, it just such big '80s vibes here
OMG seriously there is no one out there better than you❤ (for me and my taste). Bummer that you live in the UK and I mostly struggle to create layers since I live in Miami 🥵 more summer content please 😊
