I have listened to this story countless times and am still so moved; so touched by it. Thanks be to God. Our Lady is a great source of comfort, indeed, and she always leads us to her Son. This priest is my absolute favorite priest. I pray for him.

Wow, I never head of Claude Newman and I'm so glad that he got the medal. I don't believe in the Executing people. I love how the Blessed Mother taught him about Confession. Confession is so under rated. I took my entire family and a close friend to Confession just recently. Thank you for sharing this story about the Miraculous Medal. I am waiting for my Mom's (my Dad found it after she passed) and I want to forever wear it. I wish they kept Claude with us but it was God's Plan and I'm so happy that someone in prison had this medal. Let us hand out these medals to those in prison now. Drastic changes and miraculous things happened in this prison in Mississipi.

I wear this know I had the medal for over 3 years I had it Blessed in St John's in Stamford CT a Mass in May praising MARY,I put it on in the cornia pandemic going to Yonkers NY to my son and I left Mortal Sin 3 year's ago so now I wear it I hope I'm worthy of wearing it MOTHER MARY PRAY for us

We had the great grace to have him as a priest in KC. I never heard this stuff in the vernacular Mass! We don’t have to hear about the fire and brimstone stuff as much as the wonders our Lord has performed through ordinary folk like ourselves and, for these skeptical times, evidence the godless can’t say we made up and had one of our own to investigate.

It cheapens the story when false supernatural events are added. Search for the true story. The bottom line is Our Lady saved his soul and he contributed to the salvation of another 🤨
