Omg same dude. I do have smooth hair but they are thick. I am also having many problems with twisting my hair in the way. I even bought big hair claws but still it's not working.
As a good physics student. It's still hard. Maybe the technique is though? Actually I just tried it and it was easy.... um maybe wrong clip size, technique or hair type?
After MONTHS of trying...I finally have this down! The trick is to let the ends of your hair come out of the side of the clip. I kept trying to have it come out of the bottom or twist the extra back into the clip (long hair). I'm sooo happy I finally figured it out!

She combs it until it's sleek before she starts, and again as she goes along. It looks absolutely lovely when she's finished.
I'm very happy that I found another way to tangle my hair and make me straggle untangling it when it's stuck on the claws of the clip. A very bright Idea to get some strand of hair cut off or get snapped... You should try it too^^
Then first twist your hair from a low pony tail then bring it up to make a puff clip it (twisted hair ) with a claw then wape it around one side and the in the clow clip Spread it a bit one side it will look similar to it
I tried this hairstyle after watching this video, but believe me all my hair were stucked into claw clip, and it became so tough for me to remove claw clip from my hair, and when I did it a little forcefully, a bunch of 40-50 hairs came with claw clip. So it's a big no to this kind of hacks from my side👎
@@user-oc6pv2pk5g good to hear that it worked for you. My hair quality is good, I am having long and silky hair naturally but then also it didn't work for me. So I never tried this hairstyle after that😄. Maybe it works on short hair.
I finally managed to do it! Except that I have to twist my thick hair up tightly before gathering it with the claw clip, or it just won’t fit. The unexpected benefits of doing the tight twisting is that when I let my hair down at the end of the day, I end up with some really nice curls.

If it’s hard for u guys, tie ur hair with and normal hair tie. Flip ur hair on to ur head. Then put the claw clip like underneath it. Then flip ur hair back. It’s basically the same thing what she’s doing but without the twisting.
