What is tinnitus

​@@slaytrioasjTinnitus can be caused by being around loud noise for an extended period of time. It is a sound from inside the ears. It can sound like crickets chirping, hissing, whooshing sounds, ringing sounds. I have it too. I used to be so distracted by it that I felt like I was going to have a nervous breakdown. I learned how to TRY to ignore it. My Dad had it from working in the Steel Mill for 42 years!! Musicians can get it when playing loud music....but not just musicians....also people listening to music too loud. The latter part is the case for me. Wish I had NEVER done that. Never been to a Rock Concert in my life, but I liked listening to music through headphones. If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't have listened to loud music through headphones at all!!! I'm pretty sure that A LOT of us wish we could do things over again. Sorry for the long response about your question about Tinnitus.

same. I don't have all-time tinnitus but whenever i get it, it is horrible. Listening to ASMR, though, always helps me ignore it and the next day I am fine~

@@OhioGirl-bu2kv yeah it really sucks. I have Maniere's which is fluid behind the ear. common causes though is listening to music too loud, and some medications can cause it too! whichever way you put it, it suuucks
