Hi Rob, The link is saying Currently unavailable We don't know when or if this item will be back in stock. Do you have any other link where I can purchase them? Peace ✌🏼
Nice Video...thanks for doing it. How do you get the plastic headrest pieces off. Do you think it would help to use a heat gun on low or hair dryer to heat the cover up so it would stretch better? After a nice hot day, did you have to go back and snug stuff back up? I was looking at the same thing. I'm not sure Toyota leather seats are worth $10,000 that is the basic difference that Toyota wants to charge for the leather seats. Here if these leather seats get torn or it is time to sell your vehicle, pull the leather off and your seats look new.
Hi, Are you asking how the headrests came off the seatback? Or you mean the part that mounts to the seatback? If it's the latter, I just slowly worked around it with that plastic pick they provide. I wouldn't recommend a heatgun because the outer part of the shell is synthetic so they're could be a chance you could melt it. A hair dryer would be smarter but you could also just leave the covers inside the truck and run the heater at full blast for a while since you could be a colder climate. I haven't readjusted anything on my Clazzios since this installation last year and they still look good. You're correct about damage to the cover. In fact Clazzio will sell you the replacement part so you don't need to buy the entire kit. Let me know if you have any other questions.
Got it. Yes once the headrest are removed you can see inside a detent. Use a screwdriver or a pick and you can move that detent which releases the entire shaft. It pops back in easily after that.
I have a 18’ trd off road as well and the seats are so damn uncomfortable and hard on these. 60-90 mind of driving and my butt and legs are going numb. You mentioned they have extra padding/inserts. Do these add comfort at all? Thanks!
Yes a little. It's a thin layer of memory foam. You can feel there's a difference with the covers on. Covers are still holding up well. 27k miles on the Taco
Looks great! I was thinking of doing this but adding a heated seat element in between the OEM cloth and pleather. Have you seen that kind of set up? Wondering how that foam will old up with the heat.
Thanks for the review! I would like to hear some suggestions about these covers. I have a Scion tC 2016 and I’m very interested in getting one of these covers but I don’t know if I should get the PVC or Genuine Leather
Ordered some waiting for them to get here......but just so you all know clazzio does not deal with any sellers on amazon or eBay so if your wanting to order a set keep that in mind if ur like me and want the real product......but man they look good for possibly being fake.....can’t wait for mine to get here
Good to know. I'm not sure if they're fake but perhaps gray market which could be a warranty concern. I've had mine for 18 months or so with no issues. You're going to love em.
I orden mines from ebay and they original clazzio with 5 year warranty and the seller told me they are covered under clazzio warranty and even the box says made in china and has the label with the address from tha factory and it only took 5 days to be shipped to my door
hey, can you give us an update since its been 2.5 yrs, how they holding up? also , was this one the full PVC version, all black? that is what they stock and for $399
These held out like new. They were the leather/PVC combo for $600 currently I just swapped to a new cover by PRP which I need to cover in a video. I'm premiering them at SEMA this week
@@RobDaman okay thanks I'm really interested in some leather covers for my Tacoma, want the best bang-for-the-buck don't want to spend too much but I want something that looks good let us know when those other covers
Jesus sounds like I got hit the gym before I do this installation!! lol looks good maybe invest in the tripod so you can free up some hands just saying.
Rob Daman I just ordered the black with dark grey insert and blue stitching. $100 more but used the Tacomaworld coupon previously mentioned. Said they had 2 of these in stock so hopefully will arrive soon!
@@techsocial626 Nice! You'll get it plenty quick vs the custom order method. Warm up and stretch out those fingers though. I still remember how sore mine were. 😅
Hi rob, would you be able to pass me the model and colour of it, I will appreciate it buddy ✌🏼. I’m from Vancouver Canada but I think they only in USA, pls give me a hand with a link where I can order them, thank you. JR
You can get any Tacoma trd sport or off-road with a premium package that comes with softex leather seats and upgraded sound and entertainment system and other features. -Toyota salesman
I replaced them last year with PRP covers but they held well Here’s the replacements vid ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-6bcoWlDYnCI.html
Rob Daman dude how are your seat covers holding up? Im interested in getting the same ones for my Taco but not yet 100% sold on it. Or do you know of other seat covers that are better quality? Thanks!
They're holding up great! Looks the same as new. There's someone that just listed a 3 month old set on tacomaworld. As far as other kinds unless you like neoprene style there's wet okole. Nothing else is available in the clazzios price range
LSanti good question. If you sweat in general with contact to leather or vinyl in other cars or sofas during warmer climates, you will here. I run the AC all the time so I don't have those issues. Clazzios don't accentuate the situation. I had full vinyl covers in my E30 and it wasn't any different for me. Thanks for commenting. 🌮♥️
they're great. i have tint so it doesn't get too hot with them. i couldn't wait for a special order so just pulled the trigger on black when it came in stock. i got it in 1 day.
Sorry that's an incorrect assumption. FAQ www.clazzio.com/faqs.php "When I install Clazzio, what will happen to the side impact airbag? We use thread designed for the side impact airbag. It has been proven that Clazzio does not have any effect on the deployment of the side impact airbag" See test video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-wRUQ0cPATuI.html Can you imagine the liability of ALL seat cover manufacturers in the USA alone?
