I have three of these and find them perfect on my 80 year old lips. They are definitely loaded with skin care benefits. They soothe, smooth, heal, and hydrate my lips like no other. Would a young woman need this type of formula? Most probably not. But if, like me, you cannot wear the newer so-called long wear formulas, this formula is a godsend. Yes, these are ridiculously expensive, but the improvement in my lips’ appearance (even without the lipstick on), After wearing them daily for over a week now, my lips are smoother and are no loner flaky (very dry weather lately). I hope the refills become available soon and that CdP comes out with more colors-possibly some lighter shades. The current shade range is rather dramatic.

I am only 48, but I have extremely dry lips due to chemotherapy, to the point that I no longer can wear the majority of lipsticks. Initially I was very skeptical about these as I feel that Cle de Peau really does charge ridiculous prices (yes, for lovely products, but still...). However, $110 is fine with me for the comfortable wear and the results you are describing!! I do agree about the color range, and I find it a bit odd, honestly - this formula seems made for a gorgeous nude!!
@@louisemerlyn3834 As with anything that has skin care claims, “your mileage may vary”. My dry lips are the result of old age. Dry lips due to medication or chemo might respond differently. That being said, I love the lipstick. Because of the price, I’d suggest that anyone who is interested in trying it, buy the first one from a retailer with a good return policy in case they don’t like it. Once refills become available, that will lower the price so that it is more in line with the price of a standard CdP lipstick since CdP typically charges $35 for their cases.

I was thinking that charming pink is more warm tone. But I also like red ones. I think that shine is really so much more visible on darker ones. I really liked the last one on you. I’ve been looking for reviews of this latest Cle de Peau lipstick release. There aren’t many, but that’s probably because the reviewers paid for it themselves and didn’t get it for free. Your video is good for the shades. I purchased one myself and I’m amazed by how well the skin care benefits work…and they really do work! They claim you’ll get results after three days, and it’s true. My lips have never been so line-free and soft. Because it’s so expensive, I used just enough on my lips to color them, but not a ton that would be overkill. The lipstick lasts a decent amount of time, and over the hours it deposits a pretty stain. Just three days, and my lips are 50 percent better than they’ve ever been. They should put the formula in a tube just for the lip care effects! I hope this review from a real client helps anyone thinking of making the investment.

When I watched Lexi Jobg’s video around a month ago, I really wanted the CDP precious lipsticks at whatever it costs. However, I was really dismayed when CDP sent all six shades to Jackelyn for her to review. If the lipsticks are that precious, why did they give her all six shades? So I deduce that the price they put on the lipsticks are overstated and not worth the money.
Thank you Jackeline for swatching them. Just a quick pricr comparison with Chantecaille Lipchic: 2.2 g/CHF 50. Cle de Peau was over 4g and loaded with skincare and whatnot. Go figure. I am on a no buy and using up some of my make up. CdP has one of the best satin formulas IMO period. Happy Friday!
I loved this formula, for me it's somewhere between Chanel coco bloom... and coco shine... But, unfortunately, those lipsticks do not last long, they disappear after 2 hours on me, and if you drank a cup of coffee or something else, then even faster. I’ve been using it for 2.5 weeks every day and one lipstick is almost gone)))) but, unfortunately, I don’t see the declared effect... just nice pleasant formula…
They are so good! And you are right they are a mix between those two formulas in terms of finish but definitely longer lasting. My lips get chapped easily with this weather and I find this lipsticks keep my lips hydrated. Thank you so much for watching!!!
I am in Canada and unfortunately CDP Canada site doesn’t carry these lipsticks. I even reached out to customer service and they said they don’t know if these lipsticks will ever be on the Canada site. I have to pay $29 shipping to order them from Fude Japan, so $145 Canadian plus $29 shipping I’m willing to pay just to get a lipstick of my dream.
