We have purchased 2 Clean Burn waste oil furnaces from Eco Heating Systems. We chose Clean Burn units after extensive research. The quality and construction of these units are beyond compare. Bring on the cold weather, we set the thermostats at 78, "T" shirts are the order of the day. With no heating oil bills, it may not be heaven - but it's close.
This is for bonsaidi. I was wondering did you install the clean burn unit to heat up your house or a shop i was thinking about putting one of these units in a 60x60x14 shop and if they work good maybe one for the house. Thanks
10 to 15 years ago I had got info and pricing on one of these units from a company in southern Ont. Canada, called Garage supply, 4 months later when I called to order one, they told me that the dam Canada government stuck there nose in it and blocked the importing of them into Canada, why I asked being they burn cleaner then fuel oil witch I been using for 30 years for my shop and home, they didn't have an answer direct from the government other then they clam they don't pass 4th party testing, they went on to say, they be leave the government paid off a 4th testing party to over rule the mfg testing by a 2nd and 3rd party, simply because the government cant collect tx on used oil, like they can on say fire wood, gas, oil and so on so they made up a bs rule, so I build my own system, from old fuel oil burners, adding air and pre heaters and making a tip
The trick is not running out of oil. Keep a small rezerve of the oil în the tank, before Stoping the burner and exhaut heat in the house. Otherwise need an oil /air loop to eliminate the air, after adding oil in the tank! The burner will star AFTER there is no more air în the feeding line at the nozzle.
