Agree, especially the cordless ( battery). I have a central vacuum system but you still have the dang hose. LOVE my cordless vacuum and dang does it suck up the dirt!
I agree as well. I have a Shark Rocket Deluxe Pro and am happy with it. My daughter-in-law recommended it to me, when she worked for a cleaning agency this is what they used. I have both carpet and hard wood floors.

Love your videos...a helpful hint if you choose is to cut out the spot that is soiled an replace that cut out with another vintage fabric or embroidery or buy a vintage or new patch to stitch on. You can also replace the entire side with velvet fabric or make toile. Forgive me I get carried away. Anything you do works because you are very creative. I just get excited about designing. I"m looking for this cabinet! I also spend hours a day on Marketplace, and also local online auction sites. I just bought 2 antique large gold mirrors on auction for $5.00 total! No one else wanted them. I love them. Sometimes I find the prices much better than Marketplace, because you might find an item, like I did that no one else is bidding on. So my eyes are roaming for a cabinet like yours. It's beautiful!
Been cleaning homes for over 20 years now and Shark is the way to go! Make sure to get the Duo clean one as they transition nicely between hard wood and carpet and also dust as you go.
I have a Hyla vacuum, which is similar to a Rainbow. Never loses suction. Excellent for deep cleaning…. But… cumbersome because it’s a tank system. I also have two Sharks. Love them. I have two indoor cats.

Love the hutch. The plant on top is not fussy about light and it should be fine there. I need to start misting my flowers. I thought the tree was real! I like the books by themselves without dishes. The hutch looks great with your decor. Good job!
I had a Dyson it was expensive and did not last and never held the charge i purchased a bissell from Amazon not a charge one this one has a cord but I’m telling you best vacuum I ever had

Maybe think about putting the plant on the opposite side of the hutch and the rice basket next to the green tree - it will break up the green plants being side by side...just a suggestion
I think I mentioned in another video we have that cabinet but ours has granite above the 2 draws just a bit different, it holds my very vintage blue whir and brass collection . Love how you did yours 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🙋🏻♀️
Hi Sarah. I just love that area of your living room....the big mirror with the storage style baskets, wicker chair and the tree. What a cozy area. The cabinet looks lovely. I think that plant will do well. Its a philodendron and they are easy to keep. I wanted to tell you I have the same type of slipcovered couch and I wash it too. You could get a small hand held steamer and steam out the wrinkles on the skirt. Works really well. I love doing home project when in rains out too. Blessings lovely lady ❤

For an every day vacuum, I like the LG cordless - it comes with an extra battery pack. I often can do my entire home (2900 sq ft) on one battery hit having the second one is nice just in case. For a weekly clean-up, I like the Miele canister- I have the cat/dog one- not sure if it makes any difference. I chose that one simply because one of my pups sheds (Shiba Inu).
I love your planter and basket! Have you ever used Murphy’s oil on your cabinets? I find it works really well on old wood. The books are beautiful. I love old books. ❤
I thought I was a good cleaner. But! You Even wash window. I only do mine 3 times maybe a year. They are not easy to get to. Of course my sliding door and front door a couple times a week. my cat has her nose on it all the time. I do have a something I would have you do. The skirt on the bed and the couch. They really need the steamer. That is so much easier. You always seem laid back and calm. I am not so much!! I always want to get things done. Ha! Joyce
Best time to refresh and clean is when it rains , just as the rain cleans and refreshes, I feel like I am working in harmony with Mother Nature. Rainy days are the best, in my opinion I get so much energy on those days. We are about to get rain today and I’m looking forward to it. No cleaning for me though, my tummy is hurting. I ate bologna fried between tortillas with too much cheese. Ugg, I knew better. I love your new cabinet. I have a cordless shark vacuum and it’s wonderful but the battery gives out way to fast. I regularly use my KENMORE canister. I’ve heard other ladies like the shark corded vacuum so they can keep going. Take care ~ Janet 😘

Also, love your chandelier, so pretty!! I’ve often wanted to put one in the master, where did you find it? And most importantly, this is a beautiful video! Your plant is a pothos, and they can handle low light corners. If he becomes unhappy, he will start giving you yellowed leaves...time to move him back to a brighter location ☺️
Maybe spray the bookend "white" - I thought you had some white cone like finials...in a former video.....perhaps two "iron vintage irons" at each end of your books, I use mine for bookends myself...looks great...I'd only swap the rice basket with the plant...but that's just me...enjoyed the vidoe
What a lovely hutch and esp. the plant and basket on top! How does the daily wood cleaner compare to the beeswax products out there in the marketplace? You have such lovely vintage pieces. For more than 40 years I have used a Hoover, Commercial vacuum with a strap that goes over my shoulder and is ligheight with an extra-long cord. I have bought two of these as I love them so much. They run just under $200.00 but last and last.
Saw your home on Pine and Prospect but couldn't figure out what was different to me. It is the tree and adds so much. The rooms look so lovely in the pics she used. Gorgeous..smitten with the living room. Can't imagine how the kitchen will look. Any hints?
I always love your videos but with all due respect, I had a hard time hearing you on this one. The new hutch is great. I love Nest products by Laura Slatkin. If you didn't know, her husband is Harry Slatkin from Bath and Body Works. I personally don't like the smell of vinegar but know that it is a great cleaner and that you can add essential oils to the cleaner. So, I may try doing that. You always do a great job decorating!
