@@JIandMINnayeon is one of the more stable twice members, but this was pre-recorded. It’s incredibly rare for idols to sing this stable whilst dancing to intense choreography, especially female idols. This is not an attack btw, it’s physiology and human anatomy, please don’t come at me. The only point I want to make is that this wasn’t live singing, if you’ve seen twice’s concerts, when they actually sing live, or when Nayeon sings live, it is stable but there’s barely any points where she sounds like she’s trying to catch her breath or is struggling. The “shakiness” is barely there. Not to mention how this is a solo song with far more parts, even though Nayeon does get a lot of parts in most twice songs, she could maybe catch a break when it isn’t her turn to sing. This isn’t live, it’s pre-recorded. It’s just that many of these “live” performances nowadays are pre-recorded or have super loud backtrack so I don’t blame you if you aren’t able to tell, but don’t act like you know it all if you’re not actually sure And yes, there are groups who have incredibly stable live vocals like mamamoo, or nmixx, but mamamoo generally have less intense choreographies ( but still their live singing is amazing ). When you look at live performances of songs like Dingga where the choreography is more jumpy and stamina consuming, you can hear quite clearly that their voices, especially Solar’s, becomes shakier, and that’s fine. She’s still an amazing singer. But this is a 4 group member which has brilliant vocalists. Do you really expect Nayeon, on her own, to deliver this song ( with a rather rapid choreography ), with vocals this stable? Most idols tone down their dancing when performing live so they don’t run out of breath. But Nayeon did not hold back and danced it off. Nmixx on the other hand, performed Move your Body whilst jogging on stage. They were incredibly stable, but you can hear that it’s live because there’s volume differences, some shakiness and just a teeny bit of pitch accuracy. You simply cannot expect Nayeon to dish out a whole song on her own whilst basically not making a single mistake and bringing out something so stable. She is not Beyoncé. Anyways yeah that’s all I’m gonna say. This was pre-recorded

It's very clearly pre-recorded and people need to stop acting like this is an attainable ideal for idols when singing live. She didn't sound like this singing the encore standing still (before the ice lol). There is no moment where she is struggling here though. She struggled singing in head voice standing still, it would be near impossible for her to sound better singing in her head voice while dancing. While this IS pre-recorded, that isn't an insult to Nayeon and I'm sick of people acting like it is. Idols lipsync all the time, it is completely normal within the industry and pointing it out isn't an insult to the singer's skills. Nayeon is a great singer and she's proven that time and time again - that doesn't dispute the fact that this is pre-recorded though. She is not just some singer beyond human capabilities, it's simply pre-recorded vocals, unfortunately.

that's how the song composition is. if you wrote it down on paper, the melody between the verse and prechorus WILL overlap. unless Nayeon can somehow sing two melodies at once, perhaps by mutating a second mouth. that part WILL have to be prerecorded or else the rhythm will be messed up and she would be lagging behind the rest of the music
