Have you tried a bottle brush cleaner to go behind your bath taps? ❤

Can I just mention that if you do decide to remove the sealant from around your bath and replace it, please make sure that you fill your bath part way before you put in the new sealant. This will allow the sealant flexibility ,and not crack and come away when you fill the bath. Hope this is helpful.❤

To get rid of the black around the corners of the bath, put some paper towel around and spray with the bleach and let it sit and it will come clean 😉 I haven’t watched in a while and I can see a big difference 🙌🏻🙌🏻 keep it up girl 👏👏👏

My sisters taps are the same she uses wire coat hanger or just wire with antibacterial wipe wrapped around and slots it down like dental floss 😂 and im exactly the same with getting out bath situation fybro and other illnesses do put you in difficult positions 😂❤

Id love to get a little brush behind those taps, you know the brushes you get with the metal straws? How satisfying would that be if they would fit 😬 ahh i love it haha

You've voiced how I feel so so much! I remember trying to explain my pain to my doctor and rheumatologist, and they only way I could do it was to say its like a horrendous toothache. Hope you are feeling better ❤

If you go ahead and replace your sealant it's recommended to keep the bath dry for 24hrs before you start and 48hrs after you're done, at least that's what the fella who did mine told me.

Hey Gabby how are ya lovely❤ I have a suggestion about using sealant if ur nervous. I was like u when I wanted to freshen up mine and I will be honest I put it off for ages. But believe me this method works even if u have feet for hands and vice versa😂 Try this. . Easy application of sealant. Get painters tape and line it up near the wall section and then line some up along and on the bath. Only leave the section or size (couple of millimeters maybe an inch top and bottom) u need covered by fresh sealant up exposed OK. So u have a clean line exposed only for sealant. When u apply it no matter how wobbly or shakey ur hands are it still works. Run ur sealant along the easiest parts of the bath u can confidently work with. Straight lines are a good start Gabby 😂. Then continue around the other edges of the bath . The tap section of the bath is tight alright so u may not be able to get a nozzle down in there however there are thin strips of edging u can get from amazon to cover this. They're good rubber/plastic I don't know what it's made of. It stretches when u apply a hairdryer to it and sticks great too. It's on a loop like sellotape. But again it's a tight section. U cud just really scrub/bleach or mould remover that area and just focus on what u see. A clean wud do it I think. Nobody is coming to inspect the house like u say. I do this too nobody is coming so it's just for u and ur fam. When u remove the 1st strip either top or bottom only remove it in sections. But before that.. Gently rub ur wet finger quickly along those lines to make it blend cleanly against the wall and bath. Then remove the 2nd strip just gently rub with ur wet finger again same process take off some excess sealant. Make sure u have a wet cloth to clean ur hands and fingers doing it but it comes off real straight and u get nice clean white lines . This process, It makes it soo easy to do. Then even if u think it's still a mess get an exposed blade of some kind( I remove and use the blade from my ceramic cooker top scraper)this blade is perfect for taking and neatly cutting away the messy bits when it's all dried and ur happy with the job u just done.. Then over time if u feel it needs to be mush thicker u can do it again and build up ontop of the sealant u had just done. Allow 1st sealant job to dry before the boys have their bath time. That's quite tricky. But if u want to do it all in one go it's still possible. Only now u can see how much u may need as u can use ur previous new white lines as ur guide to where it's going 2nd time around. The corners can be done just by using a small wet finger tip and run it downwards to make it smooth. Those corners can be a pain but u will get the gist eventually. Sealant can be tedious but take the time to dedicate to doing it like this. Preparation is key. It really doesn't take long once u have ur painters tape down and prep the area. Make sure it's all clean 1st and ur working with dry surfaces around the bath. U don't want to ruin a job finding droplets of water where u don't want. I hope it doesn't sound confusing too much but I know u can do it. I promise you this is a fool proof way of creating a straight seemless line around the bath. I bet u will be sealing everywhere afterwards bcause I was 😂😂😂 I felt much more confidant and did skirting gaps too. Oh and the brand I used was Unibond. They have a little hand held can with a push bar so u don't need the sealant gun.. Its already attached for the small jobs like this one ur looking to do. There is enough in a can for the bath and more. I am on my 2nd can as I find them soo easy and handy to use. Anyways soo sorry for long explanation but.. Hope u try it and let us know how u get on.
