My family judged me and stop talking to me when I bought a manufactured home with cash. I was tired of paying rent for an apartment. The rent went up to $1200 when I moved. I was paying $650. Ive had family members build homes and buy really expensive homes. Since the pandemic, they’ve all moved out of those homes because of taxes and house insurance. Over the last 5 years I’ve remodeled almost my entire home. I’ve been saving for land and I plan to move in 3 or 4 years. The way things are today anyone paying $1200 or more for rent would be happy to live in your space. As long as you have a safe affordable space, that’s all that matters! If I could afford a brick or stick built home, I would love one. I want to eat and sleep at night not worrying about losing my home if I lost my job. I even drove a 2007 Chevy Malibu until last year 😂. I saved for a used SUV but I still have the Malibu as a backup. It was time for a new vehicle because I want to travel. My grandfather always said take care of everything you pay for even when you rent.
Do you. F the rest. Look out for you 😉. I'm almost 50 years old and I had to decide to cut off the both sides 😭 of my family members 😞. It hurts me immensely but, I'm happier mentally and I can actually keep my monies. I'm buying a mobile home 😜 and I am very pleased with that.
People are nasty..dont mind them. Act your wage. Be happy. Dont ever fall into the living up to the Jones nonsense.. Save for a rainy day its gonna come ❤
Sometimes people have the money but prefer to spend the extra money on travel and other luxuries, regarding their home as simply somewhere to lay your head. As long as it's in a good area with good neighbours I'd be happy with that.
My first apartment was so old and charming. I loved it! It had a claw tub, the hot water work even when i lost power. It was $250. My first place at 18!
My first apartment was a studio and they talked about me as well. But when I tell you I got the best sleep of my life. Whew! There is no better feeling. Don’t let anybody discourage you. Do what ever you want, it’s your life💕
I love studio apartments it makes you prioritize whats actually needed & helps you know how to take care of your space. I had a 600sq place but it had too many roaches ughh
People love to have something negative to say about your positive, then turn around and say I just want what's best for you. I've learned over time that's a bold face lie. They'd feel fulfilled by you not living by your means, in a 3 bedroom struggling to get by just to gossip to the next person about your short comings. Smart woman, congratulations 🎉🎉🎉on doing what's best for you.❤❤❤
I love this for you❤. My first apartment was a studio, and just like yours, mine was in a safe location and affordable. Nothing like stepping into your own space.
Awesome! Wonderful girl. Clorox Clean-Up will remove the stains between the bathroom tiles. Let it sit for 10 minutes, then rinse. Wear a mask. Congratulations! Ignore the haters ❤
The tile is not stained. When I wet the tile it gets darker, when it dries it goes back to the regular color. The stain I was referring to was the yellow stain from the hard water. It came off with the tool I was using!
Hey Brianna, I live in a 3br 2ba single family home🥴😅& I'm jealous on your studio apartment. It's nice... don't let what others think discourage you! ✌🏾🤪❤️💃🏾
Girl my apartment is also a room (with a mini kitchenette) and it's not in a safe area, but it is affordable! We gotta count the blessings where we gottem and we definitely gottem! 😊
Good for you, for making a beautiful blessed home for yourself, and it's absolutely beautiful! People are always trying to keep up with everyone else, especially on the internet, everyone house look the same, the layout, the same boring beige walls, furniture, nobody has a sense of pride of themselves! You are an amazing inspiration to others who need to learn to be thankful for what they have ❤💪🏽👍🏼🙏🏽💐
Keeps people from moving in or wearing out their welcome. Also keeps you living beneath your means so you can save and invest as you need to. Keep up the great work! 👍
And me too bc I'm now a empty nester and 50yrs old and single woman so a studio apartment is enough for me and especially when rent prices are as high and expensive as it is now and really need and want to get back into my own place and not live with someone else bc I've lived on my own for 25+ years and so used to being in my own home and I will be doing so again soon before this year is over ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
I love your space! Enjoy your solitude in every aspect! Later on in life you will reflect on these times and appreciate and sometimes even miss it! It’s where you will really find and fall in love with yourself! Don’t let anyone discourage you! It’s also a great way to stack money! A smaller space means less STUFF! Giving your more money to travel and garner more life experiences! I don’t even know you and I absolutely love this for you and your growth sis! 💕 It’s also so much easier to keep clean! As I’m cleaning my 4 bdr home that just my husband and I live in 😒 I feel like I’m always cleaning 😂😩
Congrats for doing what you want as long as it’s always good and enjoy! DO NOT LISTEN OR SURROUND yourself with negative people- that are not your friends, most likely they are jealous!!!💖🤗🙏
My first place was a studio. It made more sense. It’s just me and I worked and went to school at the time. My friends would come hang or meet up at my place before going out. I saved a lot of money. Great memories.
Dont let these grown folks who would rather live with their parents or a girlfriend/boyfriend than be on their own. You have a nice place that you love and can afford, and it's your place. You go girl!
Bought a studio appartment in Amsterdam back in 2007 (i was 26 as well) I still live there!! Alot of people my age now, can't buy anymore, because the housing market is sky rocket high, plus they had other priorities at that age (party & bs, wich is understandable when you're younger). Plus, I'm not saying buying is better than renting, its about having a safe space you can go home to! I had a lot of negative comments as well about how it's too small and what if this that and the other. Payed them no mind...because they don't pay my bills!
It’s beautiful!!! Especially a plus because your so grateful and happy about what you’ve accomplished…. Let the haters do their job your job is to continue doing u luv💜
Beautifully Cleaned Its your very own Space, and if you keep it up its gives you a safe Haven of sekf I Love it wish my Daughter had did this than she would of been Safe in a nice self space just for you Your Doing Great❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I love ❤your decor and we see grown folks sleeping in cars or van but you did it.. folks is always against our decisions but don’t pay no attention keep going.. love the washer & dryer. Hugs frm Sacramento 🌺
Mate if you are single with no kids and it's to your apartment works for you. By all means, proceed and live your best life. If it's something that you can't afford because nobody else is going to pay your bills to take care of you and you are taking care of you then a studio apartment it is and the studio apartment. It shall be. Just like I told people. If you don't like anything about my place then you need to go where you pay rent. But this one over here is mine and we're all good
I had a 433sq ft studio in college for $600 a month with my fiance and I. It wasnt bad at all and i miss having that cheap of a rent but we definitely need more space now.
