Cleanrooms can be defined as spaces in which a controlled environment must be maintained, and since the door seals that controlled environment, this makes the door an essential part in the cleanrooms. This series of doors are designed to meet GMP design and safety requirements, dust-free and easy to clean.
A door leaf usually consists of two panels and a central core material, and both are available in a wide range of options.
Core materials such as PU foam, rock wool, paper honeycomb and aluminum honeycomb are commonly used. Ezong cleanroom doors are mostly made with aluminum honeycomb core, which is of the highest quality.
The three most used door panels are PPGI (prepainted steel) panels,HPL panels and stainless steel panels.
HPL panels and SUS304 panels are in similar cost, while the PPGI panels cost less.
Ezong cleanroom doors are using the Formica HPL panels.
Since the doors are responsible for sealing the controlled environment for the cleanrooms, air tightness of the doors are crucial.
Make sure there are sealing rubber strips between the door leaf and door frame on three sides, and a drop seal between door and floor.
The window of the door
Both sides of the window should be flush with the door panel, as the cleanroom doors are required to clean very often, a flush door is easy to clean and dust free.
To ensure the safety, the toughenend glass must be used for the window.
