In this video I revisit the culvert that dumps into the river during low tide to make a better attempt at clearing it. I brought help and we did a pretty good job.
I apologize for the audio issues that occurred after my camera took a bath.

You need a chain saw. Little brother is doing a great job . Jumping on that log like he was 12. To many tires in the creek that's a shame. But you did a great job. Thanks for filming it

Sorry you fell and I hope you didn't hurt yourself. An incredible transformation from start to finish. Also you are correct on knowing your limitations and not getting hurt or worn out. I'm sure you have plenty of responsibilities besides clearing a culvert, but you volunteering is appreciated. Thanks again for you and your brother doing the hard work. God Bless

Thank you, it was quite the feat, and I knew when to quit. I revisited both of those culverts today and got some footage of them after it all drained out. Need to put the video together but that will be coming in the next few days.

It was great seeing two brothers working together to help the environment. Such back breaking work. Those sizes of some of those branches were amazing. You and your brother are inspiring! I do what l can and when l can. It discusts me that people dump their tyres in rivers etc. Thank you both for your wonderful work.

The Hudson River runs through the Munsee/Lenape, Mohican, and Mohawk, Haudenosaunee homelands. Prior to European exploration, the river was known as the Mahicannittuk by the Mohicans, Ka'nón: no by the Mohawks, and Muhheakantuck by the Lenape. That was a massive cleanup thank you so much. I'd imagine in back the 1800's fur traders would use the river system to trade furs etc. Thanks for sharing your video.

A battery powered chainsaw, or Pole saw might be a big help in clearing a bunch of the larger tree limbs or small logs

In this episode of "2 Brothers and a rake". Gentlemen, truly an awesome job here. The water pressure helped get a lit of the debris clear. May I make a few suggestions, first get some good work gloves, never know what's in that debris. A small chainsaw would come in real handy on some of the branches. Again great work guys.
