I wash my dishes before I put them in the dishwasher as well. Pulling dirty dishes out of a clean dishwasher is my biggest pet peeve. So glad I am not the only one!♥️

Hi I don't rinse my dishes before putting in the dishwasher. The engineer who supplied and fit it said there was no need as long as you scrape food off into the bin and clean the filter after every use. I don't even wash on the hottest cycle and it still cleans everything even the crock pot/slow cooker. Xx

I always rinse the dishes and do a lite scrubbing before sticking them in the dishwasher. Our dishwasher manual actually said if we didn't, food particles could get stuck and our dishwasher could break.

This wasn’t a disaster clean it was a typical mommy of 3 kids clean up lol you are such a rockstar and you do such a great job motivating. I really want one of those vacuums. I hate cleaning the fans the dust gets crazy. I love it when it’s clean though!

The installer from our cooktop filled that gap between the cooktop and the counter in with some clear silicone. So nothing gets stuck in there ! Great video! 😘

I rinse my dishes too. I make sure there is no debris on any of the items going into the dishwasher. Basically so they can get sanitized and cleaned properly.

3:03 we do not have one but I feel it's common sense to rinse the dishes prior to putting them inside... and I would definitely do that step if I had a dishwasher!!

Can’t stand anything going in the dishwasher that looks like it has stuff stuck on it at all. Wish I had your sink (mine had that little piece on the middle so it’s two small sinks, but it actually one sink) and since I’ve start watching you I’ve noticed after I clean my kitchen I’ll wash my sink! We always rinse dishes before loading the dishwasher, if not they don't get clean and anything like spices or coffee grounds build up in there, they also get trapped in the steam vent too. 😖

My grandma and mom always called the flowers PEENYS. That was back in Western PA. I know live in Eastern PA. I always added a little bit of the O when I say them, kind of like you do. I like the flowers. Also enjoy your cleaning. Wish I was young enough to do it the way you do. I am so old I am only able to do 15 minutes at a time, but I get some done anyway. LOL

I totally rinse the dishes before I put them in the dishwasher. I have 3 dogs soon to be 4 with a new puppy on the way. They eat breakfast and dinner on their own dinnerware so it’s a must.

Hi Tiffany I live out in the country so we have hard water I don’t rinse my dishes I just put them in the dishwasher and then I throw in the cascade action pack platinum this seems to clean the dishes really well and because we have hard water it also helps me keep up with the dishwasher and so I have to clean it less often since I work outside the home all the time this seems to really help out you should give it a try

Thanks for another great cleaning video. We have to rinse our dishes before we put them in the dishwasher because our filter in the dishwasher is so sensitive. We use detergent pods and if I don’t use the heavy wash cycle the outside film of the pod gives me an error and clogs the filter. Ridiculous! How satisfying was it to clean under your cooktop!! Props to your camera man; you always have the best shots and footage because he can get every angle! Good team work! Love your channel. You are my SAHM goals. Thank you 😊

You are doing a good thing by washing off your dishes before you put them into the dishwasher 👏👏 We own an appliance repair company and you are helping your unit, health and nose out. You wouldn’t believe some people’s dishwasher condition because they let all kinds of food gunk up in there 😷 Defeats the purpose.

Definite rinse before putting in dishwasher I have found that to be the one way to get the dishes clean. Now if I could only figure out how to avoid the watermarks on the plastic Tupperware that would be great. Yay for husbands, Chris is a keeper what a good husband and father.

Washing off dishes is a must for the dishwasher. People aren’t human if they don’t wash them before. LOL Lemi shine is my favorite for my dishwasher. It’s helps with the smell too.

Tiff I cannot begin to to tell you how much you have motivated me. I was going thru a rough chapter in my life and really bad depression, it has by far been the hardest time in my life without a doubt. I rinse most of my dishes, especially if there’s sauce or anything on them. I don’t really know if I have to but it’s a habit. And I definitely make sure to rinse milk out of cups because if your dishwasher sits for a couple days before being full, it stinks!!

I'm totally with you on rinsing my dishes before I put them in the dishwasher!! It's just a must for me, I find even on the power cycle some of those sauce stains just leave a residue and I end up washing it twice... Fail! I even still use those cleaning tablets once every month or two depending on the mess to clean the dishwasher from that "limescale" and mine smells pretty nice for a dishwasher if I say so say myself haha Love your videos! I wash my dishes before putting them in the dishwasher and I hand wash about 50% of them! And you should def get reusable k cups there less than 10$ on amazon and super easy to wash. Better for the environment and more cost effective ☺️🌱

I not only rinse the dishes before they go in the dishwasher, I use a Scotch wand with dish soap handle to give them a quick brush off otherwise they do not get as clean as I'd like them. Like you, I'm not a fan of bad dish smells!!!

When I had a dishwasher I definitely rinsed before for the same reasons you stated. Sadly now I am the dishwasher but I still rinse before because a sink full of soapy food chunks makes me want to hurl. :D

It’s not necessary to rinse dishes before putting them in the dishwasher. Most dishwashers from 2015 to current have eco sensors inside to determine how dirty your dishes are and built in garbage disposals. You could be “teaching” your sensor to not get your dishes as clean as they could be, or to not be sanitized as well as letting the dishwasher do it’s thing.

I rinse my dishes before i put them in the dishwasher i just feel like its not cleaning enough food off that it just spreads it around. So i always rinse and sometimes i wash the dishes with caked on food and then also put them in the dishwasher for a second wash.

LOL- My sister laughs that I rinse my dishes first. Even though my dishwasher is new and can handle it, it is better in the long-run. By not having as much food on there, less problems in the future with the dishwasher itself (wear and tear and food build-up). My dishes are cleaner too!

I scrape food off and then put in dishwasher, but I never rinse them. If your dishes come out dirty, you're using the wrong detergent for the machine. I swear by Finish Powerball. Once I switched to the Kirkland brand and every load was nasty and dirty. Switched back and presto! Clean dishes! You might have to play around with the detergent because the machine and the water in your area (mineral content, etc.) play a factor. I also clean my machine every so often and rinse the trap out. Honestly, hardly anything is in the trap though. If you're going to "clean" your dishes before putting in dishwasher, why not just wash them and save water, energy, and dishwasher detergent? :)

I always wash my dishes first. No sense for them to come out dirty in the end when the junk has been heated on from the dry feature. You're not saving money in the end, you're wasting. So with you on this one!

I completely rinse and clean my dishes before putting them in the dishwasher. I agree completely that unless I do this they don't get completely clean and the dishwasher stinks. Plus, my dishwasher that has been here since we bought is a complete POS base mode but as long as it still works I'm not going to to replace it.

I also rinse my dishes! It makes the dishwasher smell and it clogs the filter! Even if you rinse your dishes before I recommend everyone takes apart the filter thing in the bottom and clean it! I do it frequently and pull out hair and just gunk every time!

I've never run across a dishwasher that actually "washes" dishes. I've always had to rinse the dishes or scrub them clean before throwing them in there (because otherwise not all of the food gets off of them). It's more like a dish "disinfect-or" than washer.

I wash mine before they go into dishwasher too! I look at the dishwasher as more of a sanitizer than the “cleaner” haha
