We organize our twins bows on their closet door (inside) using command hooks, the smaller ones. Works great you can see all the bows without moving stuff around the find the perfect one.

I live with family and the house is always trashed and overstocked. Drives me insane. Watching your large family function so well staying clean and organized etc reminds me that my own spaces some have to match what everyone else is doing around here. Little slices of heavenly bliss! Thank you Angie!

I was watching your video on your main channel where you were talking about your grandma and she moving into a nursing home and then hospice. I am so sorry she isn’t doing well. I love that your son is interested in the piano and learning to play it. As you were talking about how to rearrange the room I thought that you could keep the chairs just pull them out farther and have them face the piano and if you have guests over turn them around so you have more seating in the family/living room. The shelving could be used elsewhere either as a room divider in the school room maybe or against a wall . I don’t know your house setup as I just discovered your channel. I live up in the foothills of NC in Surry Co. I was an Elementary School teacher until June 2011 when I had to take a medical leave that transitioned into short term disability and then permanent disability due to multiple health issues, complications from surgery and the treatments for the breast and endometrial cancer all on top of multiple spinal cord injuries that had gone undiagnosed and misdiagnosed for 20 years. I also lost both of my parents, Mom passed in February 2011 a month before I discovered the lump in my breast that was cancer. As cancer doesn’t run in the family it was a shock. While looking for something things Mom had kept for me while growing up we discovered that she had purchased a pink ribbon pin and an angel for breast cancer awareness one was in her dresser with some of the things she kept for me and the angel was in the dining room where she had stored gifts she had purchased for different family members and my name was on it. She didn’t know anyone personally who had battled breast cancer so finding them was a surprise and felt like a message from her that I would beat cancer ‘s butt, which I did. Just months later I was scheduled to have 2 spinal/ brain surgeries back to back in a 10 hour surgery it was a rough one because of complications due to my tongue being injured in 2 places probably when they turned me face down for the second surgery. The swelling compromised my airway cutting oxygen to the brain and causing damage to it that affects my memory, cognitive function, altered my personality, patience and tolerance levels. I spent 4 days in critical condition in a medically induced coma while they worked on getting the swelling to go down so that I could breathe without help and swallow. They should have left it in longer because they didn’t take into account that my tongue had formed a curve around the breathing tube and after the removed it that curve went away quickly and I couldn’t swallow pills and saliva and sinus drainage caused chocking. My vocal cords were damaged altering my voice and my esophagus was damaged creating a hernia pocket that sticks out and food, pills, mucus fluid can get stuck in and causing chocking. I spent a month in the hospital as they tried to get medication regulated, muscle spasms under control, pain under control before they could transfer me to the physical rehabilitation center connected to the hospital. That hospital experience was way worse than the cancer treatments times a million and made more complicated because the hospital nutritionist was afraid of sending up food that might have an ingredient that I was allergic to such as corn in all forms. What she did send was inedible and over cooked and dry. I lived on orange sherbet which was how I took my medication after being crushed and Panera soup and whatever else my husband snuck into the room. I lost 30 pounds in a month. In physical rehabilitation I had to rebuild muscle and relearn how to walk and do everyday tasks affected by the brain damage and because I lost over 50% of the range of motion in my head and upper spine after having a bunch of titanium hardware installed to fuse my vertebrae together in the proper alignment and curves while protecting my spinal cord from further damage. I was fused on 3 sides meaning the front that faces the front of my neck and on each side of the vertebrae where he attached titanium rods on either side with anchors and screws. It looks like scaffolding around my spine. My Neurosurgeon had to remove the bone that sticks out on your back along the spine so that he could remove a section out of each vertebrae affected to widen the spinal canal so that my spinal cord could move freely. It had been being crushed at multiple levels. The bone removed was used to fill the carbon fiber mesh forms that replaced my disks that had to be removed. It is literally a miracle that I am alive today and not a quadriplegic on a respirator. I had surgery to remove the cancer in August and started daily radiation treatments weeks later. It was beyond crazy. And for a while it seemed to be something new each month. I just finished the chemo drug therapy and the monthly chemo transfusions in February of this year. My Dad passed in February of 2018 7 years and 7 days after Mom at 7 Am. My husband lost his father to pancreatic cancer in 2013 and his mother passed away in April of 2018 not long after my Dad. It’s been hard losing them at such a young age, but when you have children later it happens that way. I am #6 out of 8 children so Mom was 38 when I was born so she was 82 and Dad was 92 and a half. My husband is older than me but his parents were only in their 70s.

Had to stop midway through to comment, I LOVE Sleeping at Last (of course my intro to them is from the twilight saga lol)! I listen to them if I listen to music at all when I study. That or the entire twilight soundtrack (listen I’m not obsessed with twilight anymore the soundtrack is just amazing and soothing) or I’ll listen to the Vitamin String Quartet’s covers!

I have to ask you! I have 6 children, oldest twelve, and twin baby's. How how how do you find the time to do all this stuff with your twins?! And all the other kids? It seems like it's impossible to have 30 min alone to organize..

@lillyl6901
@lillyl6901 5 лет назад
Serina O'Dell he isn‘t helping. They are his children too and he has to take responsibility for them. Helping means, it’s Angies job and he is giving her a hand sometimes. But this isn‘t what parenthood should be like. As you said, they are a team and therefore they are equally sharing the responsibility.
@sheryl3049
@sheryl3049 5 лет назад
@@lillyl6901 whoa, CR does take responsibility for kids! You only have to watch the videos on here and TGN to see that. I can only assume you are new around here and don't follow TGN. If you did you'd realise how rude that comment is! Course he helps. Angie says she couldn't do it with Christopher, and he says the same. It's still helping. You are getting caught up in semantics.
@adriennefriedman1762
@adriennefriedman1762 5 лет назад
@@sheryl3049 I think her point isn't that he is unhelpful, but that it isn't "helping" when you're a parent. It's parenting! Kind of along the lines where it can be seen as demeaning to say that a father is "babysitting."

For headbands you can use a necklace or bracelet stand for a cute way to display them. Or a bunch of smaller containers in the drawers to separate them by color/style/etc so you can see them more
@thegihonpromise

You could try getting some small wooden dowls from the craft store and clipping the bows to them maybe by color or patter and laying them flat inside the drawer.

If I were you I would definitely put the bet sideways. I think it would liberate a lot of floor space for the girls. They could even sleep in the bed sideways since they are small enough and it would give them more space in between them so they dont disturb each other in their sleep.

Hi there! I was a little girl with a lot of bows growing up so I have an idea for how you can store them! I would take a long piece of ribbon and hang it in my closet on a hook (you can do it from a hanger/command hook/loop it around the clothing railing etc) and I would clip all my bows to the dangling ribbon. I loved rainbows so I would clip them in rainbow order and it always was easy to find what I was looking for and I knew what colors I had to match my outfits. They stay pretty well if you use the right thickness and texture of ribbon. I hope that explanation made sense haha Love the girls’ room btw and these types of videos💕
