I was always taught it I went somewhere ask what you can bring and I always clean that person's kitchen before I leave, now a days since my mom passed I'm always the one who host and nobody offers to bring something and nobody helps clean after or before the people come. It's all on me so you are very lucky to have the help.

I absolutely love that your hubby helps. One of my love languages is acts of service. I’m 54 yrs old now and some men in my generation don’t help in the house. I feel very lucky and blessed that my hubby helps. It just makes me love him more. We will be married 29 years this summer.

Happy early anniversary! That’s so wonderful. My dad doesn’t help my mom with housework at all and I know that acts of service is one of her love languages so I always do what I can to help her.

I'm doing just that. I sprayed my floors with Odoban and Snuggle spray and let it sit for two hours. Then I mopped. Smells much better. Scrubbing counters, appliances, cleaning a bunch of things in the kitchen, making Cornish hens......

You were raised right! I thank God my mom taught my brothers and me to be a blessing and not a burden on others when you visit their home. Invited to a cookout? Bring the best. Staying over? Clean up after yourself and at the very least offer to take out the trash, AND DO IT! Thank you for the Temu code. I'm waiting for an order I placed earlier this week.

Hi Rach! Have been really enjoying your vids for a long time but have always wondered, and decided I'd finally ask....Why isn't your profile title "Rach Plus Six"?. Excluding Connor who you always comment is so helpful and a part of the homemaking, cooking, etc. makes it seem like he's not integral to the fam. Hi. I understand the question. When I was picking a name for the channel, I was just focusing on a motherhood concept and my experience raising the 5 of them. Over time it grew into showing much more of Connor and I as a team but changing the name wouldn’t work. Hope that makes sense 😊

Shortly before you mentioned that people were no longer hosting because it is such a drain financially and physically, I was thinking that it seems you are hosting a lot. Do you ever get invited elsewhere or you the only one that hosts? Thank goodness you have a helpful husband. That was not the case for me when I was younger,

Great video. I love watching Connor help; he's a keeper for sure. Where did you get that pool? I LOVE it and the grands would enjoy it as well. The desert sound really good and fourth of July-ish and I will be making that. I'll probably use the cheesecake pudding because we love it so much. I adore Temu. My husband? Not so much, hehe. And because of you I ordered off Shein as well. Got a couple of things for me and several items for the grandkids as well. I love to entertain too but don't do it like I used to. Even with hubs helping we are so slow now and wear out so quickly, lol. We usually have everyone for the 4th but this year we are trying to figure out how to budget it and even if we can afford it. My husband figured up hamburger patties alone (meat from Wally) would be about 3 dollars each and that includes nothing else.So, if you have any cheap hosting ideas let me know. Thank you so much! Yes, that dessert would be perfect for the 4th and completely customizable. I plan to make another one very soon. Temu and SHEIN are weaknesses for me haha. He cheaper hosting, I also recommend meat from Sam’s! That’s where the pool is from too. They have the best prices to stretch the meat for a crowd. 😊

I still can't host...I've been using you list but fell off for the same reason my house got dirty! You get tons of messages but my dil moved in destroyed my house and moved in w another man cuz she's pregnant 😂 sounds like Jerry #rip but girl I need help restarting. She's keeping my granddaughter from us all, the stress took over and my progress is minimal. (We got a lawyer) but that means another few weeks not seeing her. Welp, this took a turn. Thanks

Temu has a dupe for the scrub daddy. You get 3 for around $5. You can mix any fabric softener with warm water in a spray bottle and use it as a fabric refresher and wrinkle spray. I love your channel! 💜

Have you read The Count of Monte Cristo? That book I couldn't put down. I also read The Hot House by Pete Earley once a year and it's an older book. It's about life in Leavenworth Prison.
