I love how you guys are promoting real sustainability with durable fabrics that last a lifetime. No fast-fashion stuff, no greenwashing. This is pretty much what sustainability should be. Repair your stuff if needed, clean it, and it will last more than a lifetime.

Thank you for keeping it brief and searchable. Useful and delightful video! Twice I've had items repaired by Fjallraven because of more extreme circumstances causing damage, and both times I've been amazed how easy the repair process is. I could see someone being intimidated to try this and instead look to purchase a new option, but a short video on the repair steps could be worthwhile?

The first time I decided to wash my kanken it was with the same procedures that the channel suggested, warm water, detergent, etc. but a kind of white soap stain remained on the front bag😔 does anyone know how I can remove it? I have repeated the process and I have not put it in the washing machine

What do you mean by "mild detergent" is that dish washing liquid or a clothes washing powder or a bar of soap? Thanks

We mean a mild soap, bile soap for example. Avoid stronger detergents

I tossed my Kanken into the washing machine *gasp. But on wool setting and without the spin cycle. They might not last as long as a lifetime, but they do come out quite clean.

Hi, do you have any ideas my classic bag of patch is broken into small pieces when im wash this bag😭😭 My kanken bag had been in storage for too long, when i wanted to use it again it got stiff and a bit dirty so i washed it. But... when i wash it... the pitch becomes into small pieces

The same thing happened to mine too! It compels me to buy a custom patch. I will get the one similar to the original. I wish they also have a care tip for the logo because I really want it to last long.

What mild detergents do you recommend? I have a Kajka 65 backpack, which is made from the same material, so I could use this cleaning method on it as well.

Hey! I use a fine wash detergent from a Swedish eco-label brand. Any mild detergent from your local grocery store will work (preferably an environmentally friendly one). Have a great day! / Lucas

I want to wash my 3 year old bag, but 2/3rds of the bag are swinging free after both zipper sliders on the rear section came free of the zippers. Good times.

Hi! Kånken are made from Vinylon (with some exceptions, for example Kånken No.2). Greenland wax is made for G-1000 fabric, so there isn't any benefits with waxing a Kånken Original. Have a great day! / Lucas

Your jackets run small. Your biggest 3 xl size is small for a average man. Especially chest waist and seat sizes. That's odd. I was interested in Fjallraven vidda pro jacket

If spinning around in 30 degrees water in a washing machine ruins the fabric AND the zippers then this is not a very good product. I mean, how fragile can it be??

its most likely becuase the machine can scratch the paint. Thats a lot for any product to go through! I love mine and it has heldf up for years! I think its a prduct worth defending ;-;

I've put mine in the washer 3x now, and it's survived each time coming out looking like new. I do hang it to dry though. I know it says to spot clean only, but my bag was puked on at the Star Wars ride at Disneyworld so hand washing would not do.
