I collect some fountain pens and some knives. I've got some of these bottles for mineral oils so that I can lubricate my knives in parts that are difficult to get to. I never thought of using them for this purpose! Although the ones I got were quite small, since I do not need a lot of oil to lubricate knives. Thanks for the idea tho! Really creative

Fantastic idea! It's something I would have loved when I was also an avid user of platinum carbon black. Nowadays, I change ink colours too frequently to make another bottle worthwhile. It works better if you're a one-ink or even 2-ink only kind of person.
I feel a little stupid for not putting 2 and 2 together, I’ve used these bottles for years on my Tamiya model kits for glue and never thought of using it for my fountain pens. I don’t even think I still have the bottles anymore after my recent move
Been doing exactly this for some time, meant to bug some flux turns out I just bought two extra bottle so filled on with ink, coincidentally has a plastic bottle with a piss poor seal that needed a new bottle anyway
