Cleanest JDM 2000 Honda RD1 CR-V: Tribute Build! 

First time I've seen a modified crv with a matching spare wheel on the back. Usually people remove them or leave the factory wheel with the spare cover. Looks nice 👌

Bought my 2nd CR-V Rd1 in Early August 2022 since Dad passed away mid July 2022, I've been putting all my heart, love, and depression in building it. This Video really hits home. THANK YOU, really was uplifting ..been out of the Honda scene since 2000, i really want to give This Man a huge hug, because its very similar to what i'm going through. Beautiful CR-V! and a good dude!!! He didn't even get upset at all the "teasing" .... Honestly RD1 with manual and AWD will leave that APC spoiler accord in the dust on a canyon road, or track..... I've owned a CR-X, 3 integras (including a b18c5 version) , civic wagon AWD, RX-7, MR-2, WRX, S4 just to name a few, and i drove them hard .. the Mighty CR-V RD1 will be in your rear view mirror getting closer and closer.... please dont tell anyone!

H2B!!! You won't be disappointed! Plus you'll be able to keep the stock trans with the awd. H2B all the way! You could always add a turbo or some nos if it's not as fast as you want. The h22/h23 is also a great platform for an all motor build too. Drivenfilms on RU-vid can give you some ideas on how to build it too

Very clean rd1 I have a 97 awd lifted 3 inches put a jdm b20 with a high compression pistons decked block and a p8r head with some headwork/ cams a thinner head gasket it it will move pretty good

I tried every available pair of e-brake cables within the year group recommended for the rear disc conversion; I maxed out the adjustment nut at the brake lever and even notched it with a grinder for extra travel and still would roll on hills and driveways, absolutely cranked. I have been successfully using 94-01 Integra/99-00 Civic Si rear disc brake cables for my RD1 rear disc conversion for a good year now, I deliver in it and have taken it to some places in the local mountains that would surprise anyone. E-brake works like a charm, as good as ever. Due to the decreased length the cables have to be routed basically directly from the stock location through the trailing arm to the cable holes behind the lever, thus you aren't able to utilize the brackets along their traditional route, instead they hang rather neatly just up against the bottom of the fuel tank. If you could AA, please do pass this suggestion along to this owner and, for anyone else experiencing the issue with the parking brake/rear disc conversion, it's worth considering. I appreciate it. Thanks for another phenomenal video, great build!

I still daily my stock 4spd auto awd 99 CRV that I've owned since 2008 w/ 300km on it. Super reliable and still in good condition and going strong. I'm not a big car guy but I fix and maintain it (only been small repairs for this 24! y/o vehicle) to keep it look new and clean. I wouldn't be surprised if it lasts me another 15 years, big fan of these reliable 2.0L 4 cylinder motors.

Found a manual, AWD RD1 that I'm probably going to buy. My biggest struggle is finding some wheel specs that looks good on a set of BC coils.
