Middelburg is a beautiful town in South Africa, development in this town is impressive, a very good town to consider if you think about residing, it’s clean!!!!
It is indeed clean, lets hope municipalities of big cities like our good old Joburg are learning. The problem in Joburg is that hawking is disorganized, anyone can pitch a hawking stand at every place, there is no order, in pavements etc.as a result littering is everywhere. Cape town has Green market square as a good example
If one town can do it, I’m convinced others can too, just a matter of awareness from municipalities to citizens, if each one play their part, all town to Cities can be clean🙏🏽
Eh, depends on the area you're visiting and when you're there. I've seen CBD look a lot worse than it did here. It used to look a lot better as well, but a fair amount of business moved to the local mall and to the Midwater shopping area. That being said, I agree that, in general, Middelburg is still a decently clean town, though, it's definitely past its heyday. Also, they do a decent enough job at maintaining the main roads, but the moment you veer just a bit off of the main road then they stop making an effort and potholes can get pretty bad.
