This song is a perfect example of Eminem's greatness. He allows people into his life by being so open and using real peoples names and whatnot. It allows people to connect with him. It causes you to have an emotional tie to his music.

The taking the bullets out of the gun line is referring to when he caught Kim (his ex-wife) with another man. He's not apologizing either. He's being sarcastic. You just have to keep listening to his music & then you'll learn. All of his bars have meaning. He is the GOAT & always will be for a reason.

Just to clear a couple of things up that you might've not known before: His mother abused him as a child, was a drug addict and had Munchhausen syndrome by proxy (which made her mix pills and stuff in his food to make him sick so she'd get pity points and attention for having a sick child). It got so bad that Em's little brother was taken away by child protective services when he was only eight. When Eminem got famous he spoke out about the shitty childhood his mother put him through and his mother made a cd (which was supposed to be a diss?) to stop him. It didn't work so his mother sued him for defamation (she wanted 10 million dollars from him) but she lost. Em got full custody of his little brother Nathan Kane and raised him, along with his biological daughter Hailie Jade and two adopted daughters (Alaina Marie, who is the daughter of Kim's twin sister and Whitney Lane who is Kim's daughter with another man).

It's why his fans can relate to him bc a lot of the stuff he has went through are what his fans have also went through.
